1 How old do you have to be to drive a sea raycer?
2 We plan on renting from the poly, what are the current rates?
3 If renting from the poly are we permitted to cross into the other lake, over by fort wilderness and discovery island?
Thank you

12 years old and over 60 inches tall to drive

not sure about the other questions. I want to say around $33 for 30 min but don't recall. and I do think you are allowed in the other lake but again not 100% certain

You can take the Sea Raycers in both Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake( a portion of Bay Lake is "reserved' for Sammy Duvall only).:)

Wow that was quick thank you. That's surprisingly young to me, thought it would be at least 14.

If you have someone younger driving, make it VERY CLEAR to them if they plan on crossing into Bay Lake that the MK ferries have absolute right of way...or they may be getting a not-so-friendly visit from the water patrol.

If I recall correctly that is age and height to be behind the wheel but must have an adult in passenger seat with them
Yes,under 16 years old must drive with someone 16 years old or older who has a valid Drivers License.

My kids were always allowed to drive at 12 with no other passenger.

Was this in the past couple of years or a long time ago?

My youngest is 14 and has always rented and driven alone since he was 12. Granted he is very tall but I cannot imagine they thought he was 16. Last time we rented was most likely last summer as I don't believe he did it on our last trip. YMMV

Thanks for the update.

WOW! That seems "scary" to me that Disney is letting 12 year olds take off by themselves in one of those things and not "concerned" about possible liability issues.

Anyone under 18 has to have a waiver signed. They have only asked if they were 12 though. We have boating and sailing experience.
