hi folks... question..cant decide if there is a new age restriction on the rental of water craft(for the little 2 person speed boats)... it used to be age 12 and 5 feet in height... and thats what the disney site states... but it's been reported that since they replaced the water mice with sea racers, the age requirement has been changed to 16?????????... can anyone confirm or deny? thanks so much!

They had a story in the newsletter I received yesterday. I thought it said 12 and 5 as you outlined for the new boats.

Dave...they have recently revised the Family Boat & Bike plan, but my understanding is that this is the deal.

- The plan is for one week
- The cost is about $239 per family
- Up to five members of the group can be on the plan
- Unlimited use of bicycles and boats, though they do ask you to check back every hour to make sure there's not a backlog of people waiting for boats. In December, I think you'll be okay.
- To drive a boat, a person must be 16 years old minimum.
- Each member of the family that is 16 or above can take out their own boat at the same time. So if you have a family of four, all over 16 years old, you can have four boats out at the same time. Of course, I'm referring to the water mice...they

My understanding is that it's only at the MK resorts that the age changed to 16. But, could be wrong.

New issue of Vacation Magic states that a 10% DVC discount is given at OKW Marina. Age 12. Small little piece, but it's there if you look for it.
