Sea Racers at Port Orleans

Hi all.

Couple of questions about the sea racers at POR:

1.Are they as fast as the sea racers from Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge?
2.Are you able to take them down as far as Downtown Disney?

1. From what I understand they are not as fast. We usu just rent them from WL or Poly instead.

2. I would assume so as we have rented pontoon boats and have taken them to DTD on many times.

Sea Raycers at POR are so painfully slow it was no fun at all. You have to rent for at least an hour to get to DTD as you can only make it about 1/2 way and get back within 30 minutes. I would rent at a Magic Kingdom resort if you want some real fun on them.

I thought so. From what I saw last month, they were very slow.

OK - Decided to book lunch at Whispering Canyon and rent a sea racer from WL.
