I live in Florida and have been to Nassau and Key West many, many times so I was considering doing a short cruise that includes a sea day. There is actually a short four day cruise coming up in 2017 that has two sea days. Please tell me who is for or against sea days and why? Do they offer more activities on sea days?

I love sea days. There are lots of activities on the ship - pools and water activities will be crowded but still available (try for early morning or late evening). Through the day, there are lists of family, kid only, and adult only activities including crafts, trivia, cooking demonstration, learn to draw characters, alcohol tastings, character meetings and a lot more.

The main dining room is also open for breakfast and lunch on Sea days so it opens up the meal possibilities (in addition to the buffet, quick service foods and room service).

sea days are my favorite! I wish that Nassau days had as much to do on the ship as sea days as I do not like getting off in Nassau.

We Love Sea Days, the same as PPs. We especially look forward to Brunches at Remy & Palo. Oops almost forgot the Tastings. Cheers :drinking:

We love the sea days. You do not have to rush to get off the ship and you will find so much to do.

We love sea days in this family! Nothing better than taking some time out to relax in one of the lounge chairs on deck 4 (or verandah if you booked one) and just see nothing but beautiful blue water for miles and miles :cloud9:

We love sea days, if we do the Bahamas, we even count that as a sea day(have been there quite a bit). We like to lounge at the pool, catch a movie, just chill. :)

Count me in with the sea day lovers!! Just did 5 consecutive sea days on the Hawaii to Vancouver 10 night sailing! It was AWESOME! As said there is more to do than you can possibly fit into a day. LOVE sea days!!! :sail:

I love sea days as well as I get to truly relax. I spend much of the day on my veranda reading (often with an adult beverage close at hand), but I also go to any wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, and sometimes a movie. I enjoy having a relaxing breakfast and lunch in the MDR without having to worry about being on time for an excursion. DW spends almost the entire day by the pool.

We specifically chose the WBPC cruise for its sea days...15 days on board...3 port days. It was awesome.

Another lover of sea days here! We just finished the Vancouver to San Diego cruise that had just 1 day in port and 2 sea days and it was awesome. My wife and I can't wait until she retires from teaching so we can do the Panama Canal cruises.

We actually count our Castaway Cay day as a 1/2 sea day. We get bored sitting on the beach so we have lunch around 11:30 and then get back on the ship and watch movies, enjoy the pools, etc.

Book the cruise, you'll love it!

Haha as a CM I LOVE port days!!! While I admit there is more for guests to do it is also the days that we work the longest hours and are usually crazy busy... I do love the many opportunities to spread pixie dust though :)
