I'm planning a Sea Breeze Point wedding and am considering a dessert party or brunch afterward.

1. I know that if the weather is bad, the ceremony will be moved indoors. I've tried to find pictures of ceremonies that were moved inside, but I've only been able to find one so far. I was told that the Attic is a possible backup location if it hasn't been booked for anything that day/time. Does anyone have any pictures of an Attic ceremony or a different backup location on the Boardwalk?

2. For the dessert party, the site that was suggested to me by Disney was the Moroccan Oasis. Does that have a good view of the fireworks show, or is it blocked by islands/buildings? Also, I've head mixed reviews for the dessert menus. Are they worth the money, or no?

3. With the theme park portrait sessions, I know for sure that I want to have them taken at Magic Kingdom with the castle. Has anyone used the package for 2 theme parks? Is that done within the same time frame? I've been looking at doing 2 different theme parks, but I'd be worried that because of the time constraints in the morning with the them parks hours, that it wouldn't be worth it. I don't want to miss out on pictures because I can only use a portion of the time due to travel time.

4. If you end up using an outside vendor for photography, will you get a credit towards something else (like the theme park session)?

I'm sorry I can't really help with your questions but just wanted to say welcome and congratulations!!

Welcome and Congrats!!

You may want to move your PJ over to "Planning our Happily Ever After" though I am not tech savvy and have no idea how to do it, I'm sure someone else might be able to help!! :lovestruc

The back-up for Boardwalk is inside the Ballroom, I haven't seen any pictures of a cermony inside there, but we are going down in a few weeks and I will be sure to take pictures and post them! (We are getting married on the Croquet Lawn, so our backup is also the ballroom if it rains!)

I have heard people doing their sessions in two parks- I would suggest if you do MK, to then try the Epcot countries, only because the countries don't normally open until 11am while the rest of Epcot opens earlier!

I have no idea how photography works with the Escape package, so sorry I can't help there!

Not sure about Morocco for the DP, but if you are breaking things up(morning ceremony, brunch, meet back up for DP later in the day/night), you could also go see Wishes in MK. Or you could have a DP at the Floridian with a viewing of Wishes and not have to pay to bring your guests into the park for the DP (around $12.50/person I think)

Loooking forward to your plans!!!:banana:

Hi sweetie and welcome to the boards!! Congratulations on your engagement and wedding!!

With regard to the photography question - until recently, Escape brides who decided to bring in an outside photographer, could either leave the DPS photographer in place to work alongside the outside photographer and take more 'photojournalistic' type shots, or forfeit the photographer altogether (with no money refunded or credited). Just recently, however, DFTW have said that a bride who hires an outside photographer for her wedding, can either have the DPS photographer shoot her DP instead (if she has one, obviously), or have a honeymoon session to replace the included photography element of the package. I don't think that they will refund any money for elements of the package not used, and I don't think they would give you a credit towards your MK shoot, but I may be wrong, since the rules have very recently changed!!
With regard to the above poster's (very good) ideas re. the DP, remember that Wishes DPs take place at the GF (as she rightly says) and if you wanted to actually go in to the MK for Wishes, you would have to change out of your dress.
The viewing fee for guests for an 'Illuminations' DP only applies if your guests do not have (or are not willing to use) park passes.
