OMG, I'm so glad you posted this. I have an elderly cousin in Dumas. My mom is trying to call him now to check on him.

Wow - I'm right here in Arkansas, and I didn't even know that happened.

Of course the TV in our house is only tuned into two stations - Encore Western I and Encore Western II. But I can tell you all about the Bat Masterson and Gene Autry shows that were on today.

I was on a New Orleans board earlier and they were talking about the bad weather that was expected through Louisiana.

I would have been driving through Dumas today if I hadn't had bronchitis for the past 10 days. I guess that's the silver lining.

I hope everyone is okay.

Weather Channel had a report from Dumas, Arkansas at their 9:00 pm EST broadcast. They were showing heavy damage at a grocery store, Freds (old Walmart) and McDonalds. Hope everyone is ok.

Wow, I haven't heard the news and didn't know anything about this. We're in NW Ark and just had some rain and wind. I guess I'll have to watch the 10 o'clock news now.

talked to a friend this morning who was called into dumas to assist in search and rescue, he said it was total devastation, but that all the injuries he assisted with were minor.

Theres not any online coverage of the damage in strong, urbana, or other areas. but several homes and businesses in strong are deestroyed, our fill in pastor drove through on his way here this morning and said even at his house west of there they are still with out power. andthat strong had a lot of heavy damage to houses, in junction city a building housing a pharmacy lost the entire roof, some of it landing over 2 blocks away. there were trees down in a lot of places, lots of people lives affected by this

I saw the coverage on CNN late lastnight after I had talked to my mama. That area isn't exactly a hotbed of economic growth anyways sadly. I wonder how some of those areas are going to rebound. I'm glad the Froggy family is safe
