Or can I redeem my vouchers for a set of new plastic RFID tickets for my three phantoms at the ticket counter during our next trip (May 29th) and then link the plastic tickets to my three phantoms through my MDE account?
You can purchase online and opt to have the plastic tickets sent to you. Or, link the vouchers to your phantoms and then do the conversion at a Ticket Booth.
at a later date, would we still be able to reassign the ticket since it was never used at the entry turnstiles?
Yes; reassign to anyone in your listing prior to a future trip.

Actually, if you book for 2 days of FPs the reassigning after park closure will ensure that the Day #2's FPs remain. By booking 2 days at a time, you receive a little bit better selection for Day #2.

Outstanding.

Does that mean, if I was totally insane (I may be).. And I linked the phantoms to my main reservations I could do the selections as early as 60 days prior and keep them as long as I signed in and reassigned every night for the 60+ days? (At that point just buying full set of following years tickets and doing full selection makes more sense - but just want to see if it's possible and an option).

@Luisfba ~ there was a DISer who did this when his booking window opened at 60 days out. He grouped the phantoms with an onsite person to access the 60 day window. Then he moved the actual person back to the "real" people group.

The FPs, which were generated by a single ticket (NBFP), remained within the system for him. I believe he was the only one who tried this.

In your case, purchase the full set of tickets for your next trip and book for all the days as GLFPs. Then you won't have to take vacation time playing on your phone although it appears you'd have fun doing this! 8-)

Thanks. I think that's what I'll do. It may be a couple of years before we come back, but we will certainly come back so it makes sense.

There is 1 day I'll want to also book one extra set of NBFPs. Meaning, each of the 4 of us would have 2 sets - one the regular set and one the GLFP.. which would all be able to be assigned 60 days out - but on one day I want one of us to have a 3rd set that I would just do NBFP for to be able to do a late night jaunt after everyone gets settled for the night to squeeze in some RNRC and TOT. From what you are saying it seems that I wouldn't need to get another ticket for that, and I can use one of the 4 I used for GLFP to generate the NBFP, and my selections for the rest of the trip on that GLFP are safe as long as I reassign back.

Yes. Moving and reassigning allows you to maintain your original GLFP and the NBFP.

Thanks to @ScrapYap we're all speaking in code! ;)

Things not working as I anticipated. Have an annual pass and trying to test the new system out (not at Disney). This morning I scheduled a FP for Its Tough to be a Bug at 10:45am. That was the only thing I booked. I thought that once 10:45 arrived I'd be able to book any available FP at any park. But I get a message that I made plans at another park when trying to book at MK. So then I waited until after the booking window and received the same message. Now that FP expired many hours ago and still same thing. I thought you didn't need to use 3 FP at a park before you can book at another park. Where am I confused.

Just follow the prompts to book for the next park.

The system alerts you to the fact that you began with FPs in one park and are switching to another.

To get a true 4th FP, you'd have to use all 3 or allow all 3 to expire. The system is treating your FP entitlements as being switched to a new park.

So if I continue it says I'm replacing the original FP that expired hours ago with a FP at a new park. If it truly was expired I wouldn't care but this suggests that I can't book a 2nd fastpass at a different park until I've actually used the first FP (or decided not to use it). I thought once the window starts you are free to add an additional FP even at a different park. As this is only my second FP of the day it seems wrong that it is displaying a message about Replacing a different FP.

No, the new system remains open so that you can book a limit of 3 at the first park even when you are actually in the first park.

And because you technically have a limit of 3 remaining, the system is alerting you to a change of parks.

Double checking.. if I do GLFP/NBFP I will be able to make changes to them via the MDE account (via a browser), but they will not be accessible via the app? I won't be able to do a 4th FP with them after use?

Couple quick updates from yesterday:

-City Hall Kiosks were OPEN!! (At least pre-RD at 7:45am when I went in). I spent about 10 minutes there before going to BOG (and not a single CM paid any attention to me). Popped in a total of 8 expired cards (all without any remaining valid tickets) and chose 3 attractions quickly.

- After BOG while waiting for SDMT to open I quickly moved everything around to where I wanted it using the app. I had 3 sets of FPP's prebooked using family AP's (plus my friend's ticket) for 9 rides. We rode things without FPP's for about the first 90 minutes (7D, PP, Astro Orbiters, Space, TTA). Since my husband was there with us in the morning as well, I made some of my SDFP's for 3 people; then most of the afternoon and evening ones were for 2. Figured out at the end of the day that we'd used 18 sets of FPP's (18 different rides). I think we did every ride in the park and several of the shows (didn't use FPP for shows). My friend decided early in the evening that she wanted to skip some of the shows (HoP, Tiki, Country Bear) and have more time for shopping/picture taking so we missed those. We also saw both parades, CTM, Wishes and ate breakfast and lunch at BOG. Left the park around 11pm so it was an exhausting but very productive day!

-My bottom line was that I spent about 10 minutes at the City Hall kiosks and maybe another 10 on my phone in the 8:30 range playing with SDFP's and as a result got an extra 12 FPP's out of it! Since Touring Plans predicted "5" day ended up being an "8"; it was well worth it.

GLFP can be modified via the app & website because they are linked to tickets. @marciemi can advise re: 4th from app which I believe is yes, it can be done.

NBFP either app or website for Modifying. You can't get a 4th because you don't have an RFID linked directly to your NBFP - you'd have to reassign a ticket.

I thought I understood what GLFP & NBFP stood for but now I'm not sure. Went back through the thread and missed it if it has been laid out -- if someone would be so kind as to explain, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Got it - so if there's a ticket assigned to the profile with the fast passes, you can use the app and you can (likely) pick a 4th. If there's not, you only get the 3 and need to use the website for changes. (Would need to reassign a ticket to it - but can't use the app to reassign tickets anyway though - have to do that via website? so probably not worth the time)

(I can't remember, can I make changes once I'm within the time window for a specific fast pass or is it too late at that point?)

Thanks for all the help and patience answering all the questions. It's very appreciated.

Also embarrassed that I don't really know what GLFP and NBFP stands for. :o I know when I've done SDFP with cards with no tickets, I needed to go to a kiosk to make a 4th. Using my kids' AP's (which I would think would be comparable to GLFP/NBFP from what I understand?) I can make it from my phone in the app or browser. Not sure if that answers the question.

GLFP = Generated linked FP (extra tickets are linked to phantoms in MDE)
NBFP = Night Before FP using a ticket and reassigning it to phantoms to generate FPs prior to entering a park.

Luis, you can use the app to reassign tickets. I only use an iPad and iPhone and have always been successful in reassigning tickets.

Yes, this is best example of GLFP! :)

I was planning on using 3 MBs for MDE profiles who are not visiting this trip to make SDFPs. But now I'm considering purchasing tickets on those profiles for a future visit and using them to create GLFPs. If I purchase tickets, do I need to pick them up at will call or have them delivered before I can use them to generate fast passes on the alternate profiles? Mailed tickets would arrive after our visit, and I'm assuming I would need the ID of one of the ticket holders (and not just my ID as the purchaser and manager of the MDE account) to pick them up at will call. Is this true? Can I have them delivered after our visit and still utilize GLFP?

You do have MagicBands linked to the alternate Profiles so there is no need to pick up tickets.
