Just to double check.. If I get my tickets such that I get a hard RFID enabled ticket/card.. can I just use that physical card as my media for the SDFPs? (assign the cards to the phantom profiles and reassign the ticket to the 'primary' profiles that the reservation is under and are linked to the magic bands).
Luis, yes that will work.

The entitlements will be moved away from where the hard tickets are linked so the tickets don't provide a link to any pre-booked FPs.

Ok here goes. We are here now.
This still works in case anyone was worried. It's scary how well it works.
There are two of us, myself and my daughter.
We have our tickets on our magicbands. I got a pair of cast member tickets from a friend, and attached them to a new MDE account.I have a pair of used Typhhon lagoon tickets from a week ago. I have 3 keys to the world RFID cards from 2013, and a magicband from my real MDE that belongs to someone not on this trip.
I made 3 fastpass plus reservations 60 days out. I made 3 fastpass plus reservation on Saturday last week with the cast member tickets
I made SDFP+ yesterday at studios on 3 sets of media. Paired as follows
The typhoon tickets
Two keys to the world
A key to the world and the phantom magicband
We made 14 total fp reservations combined yesterday. Used all but one. We made a list of the attractions and times, and what media to swipe and kept it in our phone so we could keep them straight.
We made new fp+ reservations on the cast tickets for today last night when we got back
Made 15 total reservations for today.
It's easy once you get the hang of it!

@linskypens, no CMs looked at you strange for using those old blue cards at the kiosks? I'm afraid they will ask me what in the world am I trying to do!
But I'm hoping to try it in the next 2 weeks.
I've never used a kiosk before, so I know I will be fumbling.

No one said boo
Go to the kiosk, tap each card or band you want to use
Then make selections
No one batted an eye
They are there to help if you get stuck, I don't think they even noticed I had a pile of cards I was working from.
If you get stuck, ask for help. You will have already tapped your cards.

I'd say the same. Anyone who bought a ticket that day and walked into the park has a card - they recently switched from the green character ones to the "31 different scenes" ones so most look different from one another anyway. Unless you hold up the front side for them to look at, there's no reason they would ever know what card you were using. I think it's far more obvious when you see someone with a daisy chain of MB's (yes, I saw a guy with about 30 of them tapping each) but even then they probably figure you're a school/tour group making FPP's before handing out the bands.

I have some old cards from some previous trips by they are linked to me. Can I still use them for SDFP?

Something I've been struggling with.. my MDE's 4 profiles have RFID KTW cards (win!). I can change the names on the profiles to essentially make those the phantoms, and create 4 new ones which I would link my reservation to (when I make it) and assign the magic bands to. However.. that leaves me with the profile holding the MDE account being a phantom. I'm thinking this may create some issues (at hotel or if working with guest relations if I need to)? Any recommendations?

Also (unrelated question), if using cards for FP.. does the CM expect each person to swipe their own card or can I just swipe for the whole group (4)?

I have a trip planned for 4 people. Already have tickets linked and an onsite reservation. I am planning on buying mvmcp tickets. I added 4 phantoms to my MDE. I'm planning on linking the Christmas Party tickets to the phantoms. I will request for the hard tickets to be mailed to me. I will be able to use those tickets for SDFP (on every day except the party), correct ?

Since I am linking those tickets to the phantoms, will I be able to make the 3 party fastpasses (from 3:30-6:30) 60 days in advance? I am staying onsite, but none of the phantoms are on that reservation. Thanks!

I have a rather complicated scenario I am building for end Oct '16:
I have read ScrapYap's thread(s) on using multiple MDE's to hopefully learn to obtain more than one set of FP's, might any of you experienced to this topic know if I am correct on this thinking?
We have 2 MDE accts, the original has old NE tickets with 6 days left each (myself and my son) and I have attached a full price 3 nt res for BW for Nov to this acct. With a newer so-far-unused MDE acct (with similar but different names) we have a second 3 nt res for BW for Nov that has a Unique Offer Code (lower price) res for the same dates - we hope to use this res for our stay! My first UOC!
We also have 8 day hopper tickets we purchased from Undercover Tourist before prices went up (not yet linked), and finally, we have a Disney Dolphin res for April of 2017 made with SPG points for which we hope to use these 8 day hopper tickets.
My thinking, after reading your helpful info's, is the following:
1) Attach our new 8 day hopper tickets to the second MDE, and use this acct to make FP's 60 days out on the 3 day BW res that was made using the Unique Offer Code, plan to use this second MDE res for our stay, but not use these tickets for this stay.
2) Use our original MDE (with currently the full price BW reservation for the same dates) to make a second set of FP's, not cancelling our full price res on this MDE until after the 30 day mark, knowing we have our old NE tickets linked to this acct.
4) Use old MB's from the first MDE to enter the parks for Nov, therefore using the old NE tickets for this stay (only 3 day), leaving 3 additional days left on our NE tickets on original MDE.
5). By NOT using the bands from the newer MDE to enter the parks in Nov, we hope to SAVE the actual tickets on this second set of MDE bands for our 8 DAY trip to the Dolphin in April.
6) Link the Dolphin reservation to our second MDE acct and use the 8 day tickets on this res in April (knowing we can't mess up and try to use these bands to enter a park in Nov or we will lose massive money!).
7) Make a second 3 day set of 60 day FP's on the original MDE for next April again using a second res 60+ days out by still having days left on our old NE tickets attached to that acct. We would cancel the res on our original MDE acct in this case again.
8) If I am organized, get 2 "ghost" bands in original MDE's Nov BW visit to add 5 days of SDFP to our res in April to finish out a second set of FP! :)
In your opinion, might this work, at least as things are now? Know things could change between now and then, but thinking I am covered except could lose the one set of FPs in each instance that are tied to the old MDE account without the utilized reservation.
Thanks for any help you may offer!

As long as you have 4 names that match the room reservation you'll be fine.

It shouldn't create any issues anywhere as long as you know the correct email address and other pertinent info. The MDE account Manager does not have to be listed on the room reservation.

Thanks. How different should the names between profiles have to be? (if I change the account manager to something different from my name, so that the reservation holder matches my name, then I'd probably say bye-bye to pin codes?). Would just adding middle name and/or initial to one or the other be enough?

I'm not sure, Luis. @ScrapYap can address this better than I can. ;)

@Luisfba ~ if you are worried about pin codes, set up your MDE #2 and link it to MDE #1. You'll be able to reassign ticket entitlements between anyone who is linked via the two MDE accounts.

So let me make sure I understand, my sister who went with me 3 years ago has a band but her name is managed by me. I could get her band and use it for SDFP+ come this July? And since we only have 3 in our room, I could add two more people to the reservation and that would give me 3 bands to use for SDFP+? No need to create a second MDE account?

Well.. that's real cool. I didn't know that. From my prior questions you know that what I'm trying to do is actually do NBFP or GLFP (via ticket reassignment). So if I can reassign ticket entitlements across accounts that definitely helps bigtime.

In general, they kind of expect each person to swipe their own unless it's obviously a small child or someone who needs help. When we took my 90yo inlaws I just swiped their cards as well as my band and the CM's didn't say anything but with so many people clustering around the FP tapstiles it can get confusing. I usually just hand out my SDFP cards to everyone as we approach the tapstile then immediately collect them up after tapping (or ask them to hold them if I know there's a second tap and then collect them). Anyone with me knows if I give them a card to use - use it; if not, use their MB. :)

Assuming you're at a deluxe or somewhere that allows 5 then this should work. Be sure none of them are your sister's name and I'd make the extra 2 under 18 so you don't pay extra fees for them. Of course this also assumes you're not doing a package because then you'd need to buy tickets for those people as well.

You can Modify or Cancel a SDFP by using the app or website; but, you can only book a SDFP via a kiosk.
Just want to clarify modifying via the app: can you still modify via the app if the MDE account does not have any associated tickets?

Also, you can't get a 4th FP+ for a different park without a valid ticket, but you can the 4th in the same park via the app (even if there's no ticket in the MDE account), correct?

PS, this thread is awesome, thanks for such helpful work!

Correct. Your FPs are linked and can be Modified. @marciemi has confirmed the ability to Modify.

Not exactly sure what is being asked. But for a 4th SDFP, you must go to a kiosk because you do not have a ticket entitlement linked to the SDFP Profile.

DVC, and I'd create phantom friends of my kid. Hmmmmm, this could be interesting.
