SDFP: CHANGES COMING!! Beware the 7th of June?!

I've had cast members ask me if I was a tour guide when I ushered my family around the park with multiple magic bands before. But every time I loaded up SDFPs at City Hall at rope drop (removing millions, if not billions of FPs that good upstanding citizens would otherwise be able to reserve), I was the only one doing so.

If they were really good and upstanding (or had a brain), they'd have booked their FP 60 days ago and would be nowhere near the kiosks.

That's what @ArielSRL will be checking later. I'm assuming that they have FP+ on their ticketed account which must be used up first?
Yes and the prebooked ones are very late - last at 8:40.

Funny thing is my extras are not showing up on the mdE app currently, as far as I can tell.

I remember being in the MK back in the early 2000s. Hardly anyone was using the FP system at all. I remember going on Space Mountain with a FP. The regular line was out of the building. I kept walking and walking down the empty FP line past all these people until I reached the end. There were about 12 people in front of me. You'd think the folks on the regular line after that ONE ride experience would think to themselves, "Hey, maybe I should look into this FP thing?" Nope. I even questioned people about FPs throughout the day and they were either unaware or ambivalent. (Yes, this changed as time went on.)

That's going to be critical. If you can't change party, it's game over for anyone who doesn't have extra ticketed profiles on their MDE (real or phantom). No possibility that you used bands from a separate MDE?

Did you look via the website?

If they don't show up, it is really weird that the kiosks still work for booking at all on ticketless bands. Unless Disney is playing a cat and mouse game with us.

Thank you to Everyone for the updates!

We are there 6/9-16 and I had to Update All of my FPs! (We have 5 of us with 6 Extra ticketed 'friends') I made all my FPs at 60 days, then had to rearrange several last week in order to get our regular APs on the first set of 3. The new update only messed up one day - I had FoP too close to Na'Vi River and it will be too much trouble to rearrange that day to get both in. (We are opting for FoP)

My question is: Are people still ok to do both Tier 1 Pandora Attractions if they have already used their 3 for the day? (I assume yes - just like you can get a 2nd tier 1 at Epcot & DHS, but I have not officially heard anyone do it yet) We have ITTBAB at 8:00, Safari 9:00 & NRJ at 10:00 with FoP at 11:25 next Tuesday. I assume that once we have completed our 1st 3, we will easily be able to transfer the FoP into our regular APs that we will be using. Is that a reasonable assumption?

Logged into MDE this morning to find:

On my MDE account which is strictly by the book. Just 3 FP+'s per day on the single ticketed user.

Checked the list, it's missing a 7DMT on the third day of my trip.

Even with ticketed phantom (or real, but didn't enter park) profiles, isn't it still game over if you can't change party? The phantom/real didn't use a ticket to enter the park, so can't use its FP+ - the FP has to be transferred to someone real who entered the park?

Yes; the FP Tiering Rules apply to all parks.

For AK, watch the last few pages of the Official Pandora thread. There are stats people tracking the wait times for both Pandora rides. You'll get a good idea as to when to ride NRJ as Standby if you can't get a FP.

Change party is still working across the MDE today on ticketed profiles - none of whom have entered the parks. Waiting to hear from someone who has accomplished it in the park - from a profile not in the park to a profile in the park. Since it's working generally on ticketed profiles, seems unlikely that it would be different in the park. In Ariel's case, the SDFP are on profiles without tickets - and the FP aren't showing up on her MDE. That's why she can't change party. If she'd come in with the extra FP on ticketed profiles, she would probably have been able to change party. We should be getting confirmation soon!

Same here except I couldn't find anything that was missing as far as fastpasses go. I don't have any ticketed phantoms on my MDE. What I did find missing was my son's 8 day ticket. That was in Chrome; I then logged in to my MDE in Explorer and the ticket was there. Strange.

Try on a different browser or later today. Probably it will repopulate.

What is the purpose of all of this? To get extra FP+'s and game the system?

To gain an overall better understanding of how the FP+ system works so that guests can properly utilize it and all that it has to offer. As the system changes, guests have to relearn how to use it at optimum levels.
