Scummy stores in your town

Inspired by the Wal-Mart thread - what store/restaurant in your town is just plain disgusting? We all have one (except maybe if you live in Celebration ).

For me, it's definitely Wal-Mart. It's dirty. The parking lot, the lobby, the whole darned store is just filthy. Makes me sick.

Our local Kmart is akin to a third world country. I'm usually the only one speaking English. I'd rather travel out of the way to Target.

Definatley our Wal Mart & K Mart are scuzzy, Im sure there are others that I am just not thinking of right now.

It has to be our Shop Rite. It was (is) infested with MICE(and it wasn't Mickey)!! People actually saw them on the shelves. My mother's cousin saw a rat in between the meat counters The board of health had quite a few complaints. The store was exterminated over Christmas. I tried going back in but I saw mouse droppings on the flour shelf. That's it ~ no more for me.

And jmarie, we have the same problem with the 2 K-Marts that are reasonable driving distance of my home. That is, going there is like stepping into a third world country. Even the parking lots are scary.

Every once a while, something in the K-Mart Sunday circular will grab my eye. Then I think about what it's like to go one around here, and the sale never seems worth it. And I'm a gal who lives for a bargain!

K-Marts, but have not been in for some time now, most are closed.

The Ames stores around here were really scuzzy before they closed.

There's a rue21 down the street from me that I don't think they ever clean. If I try on clothes there (which is rarely) I won't let any of my things touch the floor in the fitting room.

Both our K-Mart and Wal-Mart are pretty scary. I won't go to our Wal-Mart after 8:00 at night because of the wild teenagers that like to 'party' in the parking lot.

The K-Mart is just disgusting....its dirty, in the store and out front. And don't even think about going to the bathroom!

My goodwill store near my house is nasty as well.

THe Home Depot near me is kind of YUCK as well. There aren't many people there that speak English, same with the Shoprite in the same center.

Since I moved here, these are the stores I've been in:
SuperTarget
SuperWalmart
Publix
Bealls
Bealls Outlet
And a couple malls. Not much of a shopper-too broke!

The SuperWalmart is the "scuzziest" one. Although it is nicer than the Walmart in Gurnee, IL.
