I am really tempted to buy this, but I have spent just under $100,000.00 on bathroom cleaners, that just don't seem to clean as well as they show on TV.

I have lived in this house for almost 2 years, and it is the 1st time I have had tile walls in the bath. I CANNOT keep up with the black stuff in between the tiles (mold? mildew? I don't even know). The closest I have come to finding something that actually WORKS is Tilex, but that doesn't get it 100%.

Do you have the SB auto cleaner? Does it actually work? I hate seeing BLACK in my bath.

OK I have one, I bought it for my sons bathroom. He is not very good at cleaning, and it does keep the shower clean. I dont have mildew on the tile tho, so I'm not sure if it would remove it. It is very good at keeping the shower clean. I had some stained grout once and the only thing I found that worked was clorox. You can buy that in the pen version now and put it directly on the grout or just use a rinse if its on the floor.

I'm so underwhelmed with mine I took it down. Don't waste your money.

Mine leaked. I thought DH was doing a wonderful job of pushing the button when he finished showering, but nah...it was just leaking. The spot directly under the thing was squeeky clean though! :)

I'll second that. Waste-o-money.

We've had ours for quite some time now and DH swears by it.(he is the one who cleans the bathroom). The key is before you use it, clean the shower completely and then it keeps it clean, grout and all. It won't clean what is already there but keeps it from getting there again. We just bought one for DD's bathroom too.

I agree. The thing doesn't reach near enough of the shower walls/tub.

Now see, that is not what the commercial shows. It shows a black bath (worse than mine) and over time (9 days maybe?) a sparkling white bath.

False advertising?

Ok, HUGE waste of money. I don't own one of these, but get the same benefit with a fraction of the cost. You can buy the same exact solution in a sprayer in the store. About 15 seconds of spraying after the last shower in the morning keeps it sparkling clean. And I can get all the corners!

While it *can* clean some stuff off - there are things that grow in a lot of showers that will need a little elbow grease to clean up. :)

I agree it was a waste of $. We have had it about 3 weeks or close to it and use it at the end of each day. Not impressed at all. It doesnt cover the whole shower area. Still looks like I have to clean it so why bother.

Sounds like you need (you arent going to like this) to remove the grout, re-grout the walls, and seal them. Once the seal is gone (washes away with time and cleaners), mold and mildew will get in the grout. There is not really away to get rid of it. After you regrout and seal, make sure you reseal it about once a year.

If you dry the shower walls and doors after you shower you will not get mold. I know it sounds like a PIA but it really does work.

I've had one in our stall shower for several months now. I love it! Our shower is pretty small, though, so we don't have the issue some seem to have, of it not reaching all the walls.

My shower walls are always squeaky clean :thumbsup2

Works great in a small, stall-type shower. I can't imagine it would work as well in a full size tub/shower deal. It just can't squirt far enough.

I haven't tried one of these...but it seems like it would work better in a shower stall rather than a full sized shower/tub.

At our old house we had tiled walls and I would spray the Scrubbing Bubbles shower spray after each shower. It only took a few seconds. That seemed to help and we never had mildew problems with our tile.
