I take french, so thats how I know it.

I would never be able to do anything like this.
I was in one in 4th grade, and got out on neighborhood .

I would too!!! lol I still have to think about it when I spell that word!!

I can't spell field for the life of me. I spell it the correct way, but it looks wrong to me. So then I try switching the i and e and it STILL looks wrong..lol Hate that word.

Ugh, there was this one kid who won then he did an interview. She asked him to spell the word scombridae, she gave the definition, derivative, and everything else repeatedly, he guessed wrong. She said "that's wrong" and he said "you were pronouncing it wrong, it was supposed to be pronounced (he pronounces it just like she did)." Just face that you got the damn word wrong. I hope not all spellers are this conceited. I'm good at spelling. I don't do it compete in it though.

I didn't know many of the word's definitions, but would be willing to bet I could spell them upon hearing them.

I have always been a good speller. I won several school competitions in my day.

My favourite words are "apocryphal", "phantasmagoria", "sphygmomanometer", and of course "antidisestablishmentarianism".
