Can anyone recommend a good screen tent? There are so many to choose from and an even amount of good and bad reviews from customers on Amazon, etc. The main reason we want one is for our Sept/Oct trip to the Fort so if you had good luck with the one that you used there, please let us know! We want one that will fit over the picnic table with some room to spare for a couple/few chairs. That would rule out the ones with the built in floors, I guess. We'll have 8 people, so probably not a 10 x 10. Thanks for any suggestions! :)

Several years we bought a Eureka Hexagon, 15X18. Huge. It has served us well but the poles now need to be replaced. I am looking at the Coleman instant Screen house 15X13. Much cheaper and a breeze to put up. Because when we camp we travel and don't stay in one place long I think it will be a good fit for us. Not as big but big enough to go over a table and a few chairs.

I'm not a big fan of screen tents. With two kids (now grown up) it would have been unzip go in, unzip go out, all day long.

You are going to find that unless you get a really big one, you will find it very tight for space if you want to get 8 people and a picnic table in one.

I have a 12 by 12 canopy and it barely covers the table with a little extra for cooking at one end.

I want to try using a 12 x 15 tarp I have to try to get a little more space. Remember 10 by 10 is floor space and the walls will angle in and its going to more like 9 by 9 or less once you get to shoulder height.

Thanks for your replies! I do like the Coleman brand. I've always felt like Coleman makes pretty good equipment. chartle, I'm hoping to be able to do more cooking outside the camper...in the past, the mosquitoes have made it a miserable experience so I'm hoping to change that with a screen tent! Our youngest two campers will be 11 and 16, and the rest are adults, so I won't have to deal with little ones zipping and unzipping all day! Just 8 big ones! haha! I don't really expect all 8 of us to be spending too much time sitting out there together. We're always at the parks for rope drop and then we close em down at night. But we will have a few days for playing at the fort, so I want to keep those mosquitoes off my legs while I cook! ::yes::

I have only camped at WDW really once a long time ago and did do a cabin a few years back but I didn't think mosquitoes where a big deal at FW.

I still think it just gets in the way.

EZ-up it's tan,and you get it at Walmart, but you buy the screen sides ,etc for extra-
it's the EASIEST tent we've ever used, but it is bulky and heavy. I will never use a regular style screen tent again. This thing ROCKS for car camping:thumbsup2
That said, I dislike screen sides, they don't really keep bugs out, but they get in the way! The EZ-Up has a tent material for the sides option, I like that to protect from rain, otherwise we just use the top(where we camp,it's always damp,we need som sort of dining tent....
for the tent,it's about 90.00(?) and the sides are like 30.00 as accessories
