UPDATE: Magic Kingdom!
Oooh, I really should have taken notes because my memory is starting to get foggy! I know that we did schedule two MK days because there is so much to do and the kids were now willing to try a lot more so this is the first day where we attempted to get Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Toon Town Fair out of the way. We did not wake Jacob this day but were a little noisy in getting ready so he would get the hint. Let's get moving kid!
We ran by Buzz and got a fastpass ticket and then headed to teacups. The teacups have been their favorite ride since forever. Tom and I fight about who has to ride the teacups and sadly, I am on the losing end because someone claims motion sickness. I have pictures of me very pregnant with Jacob on the teacups, which is just not fair. Fortunately, they are big enough to ride alone so we both got to watch from a safe distance!
After some more kiddie ride fun and indy car racing we headed over to Toon Town Fair. I wanted to catch Minnie since Megan was in her Minnie outfit. First, Goofy's roller coaster:
Then, Minnie's house was closed!

We looked at the character lines to see if anything looks short. The princesses were forever but Donald, Goofy and Pluto said 15 minutes. If it's more than 15 minutes I am not interested. Megan and I jumped in line.
Tom informed me later that as soon as we disappeared in the line a cast member changed the wait time to 30 minutes!
45 minutes later we got in to see the characters. When the cast member saw us, she said, you should have went to Mickey's tent. He's there with Minnie today!
Well, it was my first gross miscalculation of the trip so I tried not to dwell on it. Megan did enjoy the guys:
Since we were deposited in the gift shop I looked for sneakers and suits. No sneakers in her size and no swimming suits. Megan lobbied to go see Mickey and Minnie, but I didn't want to wait in another line and our Buzz fastpasses would have expired so off we went.
Meanwhile, Jacob got his face painted. He looked very fierce!
After Buzz we went to one of their favorite places to eat, Pinocchio's. The kids love to wave at the boats going into It's a Small World.
Tom wanted to go on the Haunted Mansion but the line was too long. He was

and me too because it's one of our favorites. We took Megan for the first time two years ago and she giggled the whole time. Her cousin (same age) was very angry with us when she got off and told us, those weren't friendly ghosts!
Anyway, we decided to get a fast pass for the Jungle Cruise and do Aladdin's carpets. It's like Dumbo but you don't have to wait forever.
Here's a weird thing. When we got in line there was a little girl in front of us. Her dad told me, her mother is coming but she's in the restroom and I have a baby here so can you keep an eye on her? She was 6 or 7. We said ok, but then the couple in front of us had the same age daughter so she palled around with them in the line, which was about 20 minutes. We get to the front and the mother still hasn't come. I look around for the little girl even though the other mother told the dad she would watch her and I saw her by the exit. She didn't even get to ride the ride after waiting all that time because her mom was messing around in the bathroom. I would have let her ride with me if I knew. I felt so bad for the little girl. The mom came running up right when our turn was starting. I hoped they let her get on without waiting again.
Anyway, we decided on ice cream after the carpets. Messy as they are, I sent them to rinse off in the water fountain. Jacob was a little vigorous in his rinsing and forgot he had face paint on.
Sadly, we did not get a good guide on the jungle cruise. The whole attraction is about the guide and the delivery of the corny jokes so I was disappointed. Jacob brought home some jokes so it wasn't a total loss:
I know all my state capitals. Like the capital of Washington is W.
I used to work at an orange juice factory but I got canned. I just couldn't concentrate.
After that it was time for the pool (Mommy excused again! Woo hoo!) and then the Sandcastle Club for the kids and fun for mom and dad.
We had dinner at Le Cellier, which we can almost never get into. It was great! We had drinks at the English Pub and saw British Invasion (again, we are so lame I know).
We walked over to the Boardwalk and I gave up on the sneaks and bought Megan lavender mary jane
crocs instead. They are so cute! I bought Jacob a little toy so he would not be jealous since they didn't have any suits there either!
We headed to Jellyrolls the dueling piano bar. It's my very favorite place ever. Tom had received some bad news from a cast member at the pool earlier that day. They were closed a month when they got their floors refinished and most of the players got jobs elsewhere. We only recognized one guy and he wasn't one of our favorites. It was ok.
We picked up the almost-asleep kids from the Sandcastle Club and went straight to bed. It's Animal Kingdom day tomorrow so we needed our rest!
