Screamin' Open Today!?!?!?!?

It's now 9:30 PST and according to the OC Resgister (?) Screamin' should be reopening today! We are on our way to check it out! Wish us luck! I'll be back on later to either confirm or deny. . . Haven't seen any of the other sites mentioning this newsbit, does that mean I broke the story here????

Well, I'm back in Chicago, but got to ride Screamin' several times yesterday! I'm so glad I got the chance before coming home. . . The station looked repainted, and the ride was great altho it appeared they didn't do any kind of cosmetic work on the track itself. . .

I've noticed that on the Disneyland web site, the refurbishment schedule no longer shows California Screaming as under refurbishment. Up until yesterday, California Screaming was listed as under refurbishment through at least December.

Oh, wow! I saw it running on Friday while we were there, but I didn't know that was the actual reopening day of it! Rats! We didn't get the chance to go on it because my sister was feeling queasy at that part of the day. She was suffering from a migraine on the way up to Anaheim and had to be careful with which rides to go on. We hopped over to DL around 2 p.m. and didn't return to DCA till much later, only to do SOCA. So, I never got to ride CS all day Friday.

I rode 5 times yesterday in the space of about 45 minutes (there was not much in the way of a line because of the threat of rain--it did rain after we rode and sprinkled a bit while we were in line).
