Scream 4

I loved the first two. I am looking forward to this one.

-whispers- There were actually three. This is the fourth.

So has anyone seen it? reviews? I'm going tonight :) It will be the first time i've ever seen a scary movie in theaters :scared1:

I saw it yesterday. While I didn't think it was as good as the first one, it was definitely as good as #2 and better than #3. The humor is still there and the mixing of the old favorites and the new teens worked really well, IMO.

We saw it yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it! Loved that the main 3 characters were all there and loved the mix of new teens too.

I think we were the only two people in the theater who were old enough to have seen the first movie without being accompanied by a parent or guardian :lmao:

DH and I saw it last night and loved it! It was definitely better than numbers 2 and 3. I agree that the original movie is the best but this one was very, very good.

We also loved how they incorporated the new generation with the three original cast members. It was fun seeing it at the theatre - I actually screamed out loud several times and kept jumping into DH's shoulder. :rotfl:

I was surprised, I was expecting tons of noisy teens but most of the people In the theater were around my age.

Agree with the poster below, great job of tying in the old and the new! Loved it!! I have been waiting months for it to come out and I was not disappointed.

They filmed this movie in the city that I grew up/went to school in! I'm embarrassingly afraid of horror movies, but I kind of wanted to see this one, just to see all the sights from my childhood in a movie.

I absolutely loved it! I really enjoyed the humor even if it did seem like I was the only one laughing at times.

We might just go see it tomorrow. I also want to see Insidious so I might have to go for a horror double header tomorrow.

It's good to read that people are enjoying it.

We're thinking of seeing Insidious tomorrow. Hope it's scary :scared1:

I saw Insidious also, opening weekend. It was actually quite scary. I jumped many times. It's also the cleanest scary movie ever, no sex, almost no swearing, almost no blood, and actually not much violence.

I agree on the last part about it being clean. But I was honestly very disappointed with it, and I didn't find it scary at all. I thought those nerds were hilarious though! I've never laughed so hard in a movie like this before, until them. I was worth it though, because it was different.

I'm going to see Scream 4 soon... I can't wait. I keep getting delayed though. Ugh!

I saw it and I loved it! My friends however did not. However, they have not seen the first 3 and did not know anything about the series. (we are all in our 20s btw) I am a big fan of the Scream series and was excited to see it and it lived up to my expectations. My friends thought it was dumb and not scary. Wes Craven said this was going to be a parody of horror films and I think you have to go in knowing that.

I took my 14 yr. old daughter to see it. (She saw all the other Screams and loved them.) We liked it and enjoyed the opening. I think I enjoyed it more than she did but nothing will beat the original.:cutie:

okay, did anyone see the bio of scream on the biography channel? i swear rose mcgowan has had some SERIOUS botox! she couldn't even move her mouth! she looked...different, like she'd gotten a bad facelift or something. i can't explain it, but if you get a chance to see the show, check it out-lots of interesting anecdotes about the original film in there.

DH and I saw it last night and liked it! It had a few funny parts in it as well and I loved the ending. I'm very happy we saw it!
