Does anyone know how to get rid of scratches on CD's? My girls have been so rough on their CD's and now they can barely listen to them.

Any advice??? Thanks!

bumpung as I have this problem too. I've seen advertisements for some sort of machine that fixes scratches but I wondered if it was too good to be true...

Laurie :)

I also read somewhere that toothpaste is supposed to work (???) Never tried it, so I have no idea whether it works or not, but apparently you just smear it on the bad spots and wipe off the excess....??? Might be worth a try on one or two before you buy something to fix them

Would that be paste or gel?

Plain toothpaste, NOT tartar control. I usually go for the white crest kind, but any kind should work... tartar control is bad, though. I just put it on like I am waxing a car... small little circles all over the surface. Then i wash it off and dry it with a window-washing rag (that won't leave any lint or scratch). Good luck! It really works quite well!!

Thank you I'll have to try the toothpaste tomorrow...

My girls will be so happy because one can't listen to enough Hillary Duff in a day :teeth:
