Scrapping with Swapped Items Challenge rlovew is the winner

What program are you using?
If you are using photobucket..
go to edit.. resize.. it'll pop up a screen w/ about 5 sizes.. I use the email one.. save that.. and it will make the photo smaller.. than click the copy the link and post it here..
Does that make sense?

Thanks for the tip. I am using photobucket. Hopefully, this one will be better. If this works, then I'll try and resize more and add a few in one post.

This is two 8x8 layouts using elements from AWM. There's one element on each page. Can that count for one point?

That looks great!!! Love it!!! :)
You all are giving me some inspiration to do next years album a little early...but I need to finish some other things first....

Here are some Incredible layouts for my kids' books. The first one has a shaker box and pocket from momx3boys. I used the pocket for the autograph tag. The second two each have a tag and a photo mat that I believe rlovew made. (Correct me if I'm wrong so I can give proper credits.) They were from the Nemo and his Pixar Friends swap.

Okay, something went wrong with Mr. Incredible. Here goes again.

Here are some Cars layouts for my kids' books. The Lightning McQueen ones have signs that I got from the Nemo and his Pixar Friends swap hosted by disneyland_emily. I think she may have been the one who made them. The Mater one was something I made for the same swap.

Another one for the kids. The Eeyore and butterflies were from AWM in a Disney Surprise swap.

Here's a layout for our breakfast with Chef Mickey. Each page has a fabulously cute border made by fannF and stickers from KatDisney's Disney Surprise II swap. For the photo mat in the lower left of the first page, I matted the sticker and ran ribbon through it. When the picture slides underneath it, the sticker strategically covers background distraction (people clearing tables, passing paper towels). I'm a little paranoid about posting pictures, can ya tell?

Close ups of each page:

Happy campers.. no worries about not posting pictures.. in this day and age we all have to be safe especially w/ our kids....
If I already have photos on the pages, I cover up the people in them.. now if they are random shots and somebodies head is in the way that is not related to me.. they are on their own!

I love all your layouts. And again, it is totally okay to not include the photos of your family in the posted layouts. Really, how many of you are going to go through the trouble of making layouts and then not finish by putting on the photo later? Just for a matchbook album? :lmao:

One more happycampers and you will reach the max with rlovew.

I never realized just how much you can really put on the smaller pages and have them look so great. Not crowed or cramped at all. That is pretty cool to know.

I think you may have counted my big close ups of the Chef Mickey layout. I'm pretty sure I only have 12 to this point.

Here's 13, 14, and 15:
This one used elements by hopemax in the MGM swap that SIOH hostessed.

This one has my elements from the MK swap that piratesmate hostessed.

Here's my "ZooBalloo Abu" and topper from that same MK swap. I didn't think of a mini-carpet for Abu until I was matting my photos. I wish that idea would've hit me for the swap.

You're right, I did count the close ups. Thanks for catching that. I will go update your totals to include the lastest ones. They are really good looking pages.

Thanks for hostessing this challenge. It made me get moving on getting some more layouts completed. It also made me learn how to get photos out of my camera and onto my computer. DH had always taken care of that. I also got a photobucket album and learned how to post pictures.:teacher:

happycampers--I love your pages! I especially love the photo mats on the teacups page. . .I'm going to have to do those for my September trip, if you don't mind!! :thumbsup2

Only if you take me with you!:rotfl2:
Those photo corners on the photo mats were a last minute thought when I started to put my pictures on that page. I made the pocket and tag and the paper piecing tea cup for the swap. The tag has the same sort of designs on it. You can't tell by the picture, but the tea cup was dry embossed.

Wow! I just went back and looked through this whole thread. There are soooo many fabulous pages and swap elements. This is a very talented group of scrappers. We should make our own magazine.;) Great job everyone!

All of the pages look great! I've actually done quite a few pages, but am so computer stupid that I don't have the first clue of how to post pictures (some things just aren't worth the stress!). It is so nice to see how everyone has used the different elements. It also feels good to know that people actually use the stuff I make!!!

By the way, I LOVE the ZooBalloo Abu. He is the cutest!!!!
