On our cruises, we always collect a lot of miscellaneous flat stuff that are not photographs - luggage tags, diningroom ticket, cards off flowers and gifts, stationery, show notices, boarding pass, boarding number etc.

Thought I had done one once, so I volunteered to do a page on the topic for a page swap. Now can't find the dratted thing!:confused3 I need a good page idea or map for scrapping the "stuff" of life, but I don't know how to search for it. Any ideas, links, photos of your pages?

Is what you are looking for similiar to a crop session or class? Have you tried googling on the topic? I know there are "page maps" out there, and I am sure there are tons of layouts with just memorabilia.

We're doing a page exchange on our cruise. I haven't been having any luck finding ideas for pages not incorporating photos/journalling but rather miscellaneous stuff.

I had one class from quick quotes a couple of years ago with a layout for stuff- it had an envelope to fit a room key, and had a couple of pockets across the bottom of the page to hold larger items.

I would think about what you stuff you might be using and try to find a map with pictures that size and instead of making mats you can make mini pockets.

Thanks, I'll try that. I already had a key idea with library pockets, but it was the layout itself that had me barfangled. Sometimes i'm a little slow, y'know:rotfl:

SEI taught a class this year that made 4 different kinds of pockets- they all used their thinner shimmer paper for the pockets but any thin paper would work.

One of the really simple pockets was made from folding a paper in half (fold down) and then folding the front side down. Then we folded a little bit back one each side- this made a little pocket once you glued it down. (I don't know if that makes sense at all but I hope it does). The paper would have to have prints on both sides since you would see both.
