it depends what you want Creating Keepsakes is amazing, and has some very cutting edge ideas in it - I like to read it, but I will never use many of the ideas in my book - they are just too fancy for me.
Simple Scrapbooks is probably my all time favorite, lovely layouts, and at a level that I can really use the ideas, and get a lot of use out of the layouts.
PaperKuts is good, it's pretty cutting edge like CK, but not quite so far out there. I mainly get it because a couple of UK Scrappers get published in there from time to time, and I like to see their work.
Memory Makers and Ivy Cottage are not really my cup of tea, but they may work for you. Ivy Cottage was big into paper piecing and paper dolls the last time I looked at it, so if that is your style, then you may get good ideas from it.
Scrapbooks Etc is another nice one, which I buy occasionally - they have nice descriptions to explain how each layout was done, and also ideas for using your supplies for other projects like cards, or calendars.
They all have websites, so you could have a look around the websites to see if you can get an idea of if they are for you or not,
