First I would like to say Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow Dis and Scrapper Moms! Lets celebrate doing a great job in raising our kids!
For mother's day DH gave me a choice of gifts! A tote to lug around my scrap stuff, a table for the spare room or scrapping supplies! Very hard choice but I choose the supplies! Picked up some paper,adhesive,letters and a new magazine (slowly but surely getting to the topic of this post!) The magazine is by MemoryMakers and it just came out, it is called Travel Scrapbooks. What a great mag, couldn't put it down, has tons of ideas for layouts related to travel and vacation. There is even a section on disney. I would not hesitate to recommend this one! Do any of you have any particular mags or books you would recommend? I am thinking of getting the CK disney ideas book if I can find it at a good price- I won't pay 34.00 for it!
P.S. The tote I mentioned is not made specifically for scrappers, we found it office depot, it is a leather catalogue case,will hold 12 x 12 supplies and is pretty much set up the same as all the poplur totes out there, except this one had combo locks,telescoping handle/wheels and was leather! It was originally priced at 169.00 and was marked down to 69.00 and then to 49.00! Come payday I may still pick it up and the similar ones by generations ect retail for 3x that!
