Scrapbooking Store on Disney???

I have heard rumors there is a scrapbooking store on Disney property, but the question is...where!?!?!

I want some Mickey and castle punches!!!

There is a scrapbook store in Downtown Disney called Disney's Wonderful World of Memories. It is located in the Marketplace near the Rainforest Cafe. It is beside The Art of Disney and it used to be the 2 R's Reading & Riting store.

I am an avid scrapbooker (who had been to way too many scrapbook stores) and was very excited to know that Disney had their own scrapbook store. It was our first stop when we arrived at WDW this past December. I was disappointed, though, sure they had exclusive WDW scrapbbok supplies like WDW scrapbooks, Mickey edged scissors, Castle punch (didn't see a Mickey punch but I'm sure they had them), and WDW stickers, but if you are looking for paper they only sell it in a pre-packaged kit or a book - there are no single sheets sold. My local scrapbook store sells more general Disney stuff than the Disney store at DTD. A word of warning....read the pacakge of stickers or ask a CM to know what you are getting. I bought a package of stickers - actually the "Little Book of Sticker Quotes" for $4 because it said it had 165 Acid free stickers. What it didn't tell me was that it was 15 pages of the same 11 stickers!!! I mean I many times could I put the sticker "what time is the 3 o'clock parade" in my scrapbook!!

I saw a link to a scrapbook site that sells the WDW scrapbook stuff. I think it was "the laughing place" or something like that. (try a google search).

I can't help you with the store, but Michael's sells Mickey punches. They have his head and his whole body(side view). I just picked them up last night.

I for one was disappointed in the scrapbook store at Disney. They did have kits but at the time I was there they had no Mickey punches, none of the cool patterned paper I see at the LSS, none of the Sandylion stickers, Jolee stickers or anything like that. They only I bought I was as Christmas scrapbook.

Most of the things that you would find in the DTD store are also in the Resort and Parks gift shops too.

We JUST got back (yesterday) and they have new punches... Mickey... Mickey head (maybe Pooh and Tigger? I only got the two mentioned)... and yes, they have the castle punch.

The previous responses are correct... there is no seperately sold paper. You're better off getting that stuff at your store.

I came away with cool 3D stickers (expensive, but I love them), vellum tags, Mickey head paper clips and seals. They also have Mickey head eyelets (but I have plenty of those... LOL!!)

I'm never disappointed when I go. No, it's not as good as what is "out there" at your LSS, but they have things you can't get anywhere else and are still pretty cool!!
