I've heard that WDW may have a scrapbooking store which sells Disney supplies! Say this is true??!!!! If so, please tell me where it is!!

Hi Martha,
It's in Downtown Disney and be sure when you go there to get your picture taken in front of the store--it makes a great layout!
Kim
P.S. I bought the cutest Mickey Mouse eyelets there in January,
and I can't wait to use them :)

Thanks, Kim. That's going to have to be a definite stop!
Can't wait!!

It's located between the Rainforest Café and the area of the sidewalk where children may play in the fountain sprays.

Don't get your hopes up too much... it's a store alright but if you are thinking of a scrapbook store you will be really disappointed like I was.

I'm an avid scrapper and although I'm not into the newest trends the diecuts and paper they offered for sale at this store left me heartbroken. I was hoping to spend a ton of money there but came out spending very little. I also got the cute Mickey eyelets and some tape but that is it.

I too was disappointed in the scrapbook store in DD. I had been warned so I wasn't as disappointed as I could have been. The only thing I bought were some computer address labels that have the castle on them and a pair of the Mickey scissors. The Mickey scissors will barely cut. They didn't have the Mickey eyelet's when I was there or I know I would have bought them. There are much more and nicer Disney scrapbooking items at my LSS then there are at DD.

Hi Chessie,
My scissors doesn't work very well either that I bought there,
maybe I'll have to try the wax paper or tin foil trick, but I don't even think that will change the way that scissors cuts :)

Martha, I have to agree with the other scrappers about the store
in Downtown Disney--It is a place you have to check out to at least get your picture taken in front of the store, but as far as
the inventory it leaves a lot to be desired. I personally don't care
for many of the Disney papers out there, but I did purchase two
albums, one for 2003 and one for 2004 that seemed to be a great
value for Disney at only $25 apiece. I want to still get the one from Sandy Lion and then I have a black album with little white swirls from Scrap In a Snap (I'm a consultant). I have quite a few pictures to take care of from our vacations--my goal is to have these albums done before we go again in October!

Thanks for the warnings. I was expecting it to be special. Oh well, I'll keep a lookout for Disney things at Michael's and AC Moore. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up a Disney album while there at least. Less money spent in Disney and less things to pack to go home, I guess! :)

The item that I bought, which I couldn't find elsewhere, was a set of stickers with a variety of their theme park icons. Otherwise, I'd agree, there's little there that appealed. Also, they had some sticker rolls which did not actually say they were acid free, lignin free on the packages. Too bad.

You also don't have to make a special trip to downtown disney, unless you want a picture of yourself there. The same scrapping supplies are available in the big stores in the parks as well as in the gift shops at the hotels.

Just wanted to let you know that you can find cool Disney stickers for scrapping in some of the stores. Mouseworks I know had some and so did some of the other stores. Two years ago, I got cute stickers about each park and lined paper made to write on for scrapbooking. OH, and don't forget those maps and cute little things you pick up along the way!

I was disapointed, I also had a ton of money buring a hole in my pocket.

I also got the Mickey eyelets. Seems like it was a store for people who are brand new to scrapbooking. My friend loved the store but has never scrapbooked. I did get a few things but did not spend the money I had planned on spending in that store,

I also was upset when the woman tried to put what paper I got in the same bag as the tape, eyelets and a few other bulky things. When I asked her if she would mind putting the paper all by its self she got kind of mad at me. I ended up just asking her if I could bag my own stuff

I was a bit disappointed, also, but I did manage to spend a great deal of money there :) What disappointed me the most was that I could find stuff all over WDW. I thought I'd wait and get it all in one trip. Knowing there was a scrapbook store, I figured they'd have it all. There was stuff that I couldn't find there that I'd seen at other stores. Of course, I couldn't remember where I saw it. So, if you see something, don't expect the scrapbook store to have it.
