Let me start off by saying I am not a scrapbooker but I do like to use the pages for things. We are planning Megan's birthday party for this April and are using a Disney theme(of course). I am looking for paper (8 1/2 x11) with Cinderella's castle on it to use for the invitations. Is there paper like that available and if so from where.
Thanks for the help.

The only paper I am familiar with with the castle is is 12 x 12... and unfortunately, as far as I know, it only comes in a book (can't buy the sheets individually). It is made by Hot Off The Press ( www.paperpizazz.com and www.DIsneyBooks.com ). They also make an 8 1/2 x 11 book of "Magic Kingdom" papers, but the castle pictured in that book is Sleeping Beauty Castle in DisneyLand. But there are many companies that make Disney-themed scrapbooking paper. Check around for a place that sells PaperGarden products... they have great Disney stuff (but they don't have a website where you can buy stuff). And check www.mousememories.com .... they have tons of Disney scrapping stuff. And I'm sure that someone else here will come up with a good answer for you!................P

I was just wondering if there was a rubber stamp of the castle that would work? Just an idea.

I'm not sure how handy you are with your computer but here's an idea.

Find a photograph of the castle you like and copy it, then paste it into a Word document. Size it the way you want (ie: filling most of the page) and format the picture so text will go over/through the image. Set it as a "watermark".

That will make it faint and you can insert your invitation text over the top.

Oh just make sure it isn't a restricted copyrighted photo. The ones Disney doesn't want you to use they usually post into their sites as multiple images. But there are others that you can copy just fine.
Good luck!

Thank you thank you for the suggestion of using the watermark. I feel that i am pretty computer literate but I don't like printers too much. But anyway. I asked DH and he had it on his printer and tried it and it looked really good. He was going to take it to work today and try it on the really good printer. I would have never thought of doing that. I think I will go and get some really pale blue paper and it will look really nice. I might even find a Tinkerbell rubber stamp to stamp at the top.
