Before I went to WDW a few weeks ago, I had already decided to try to do my very first scrap book of our vacation. So while at DTD, I made a point to go to the scrap book store to pick up some supplies (up to that point, I hadn't bought anything). I got a REALLY nice scrap book (wood, with a photo frame on the cover), paper, and stickers. I think I spent maybe $75 (the scrap book was expensive, but since it was so nice I didn't mind).
While at JoAnne's yesterday to pick up a gift cert for MIL, I decided to look at the scrapbook section.
Big. Mistake.
A dozen sheets of Disney paper and various packages of stickers later, I make it out of there spending about $38.
Today, I was looking at some of the links and websites mentioned in the "beginer scrapbooking" thread to get ideas for layouts, and thought of a dozen more things I could go back and buy. Not to mention that I want to go and get a really good pair of scissors, croping tools, and various other "tools of the trade".
Over $100 spent so far, and I haven't even started yet. WHY DIDN'T ANYONE WARN ME THAT THIS WAS SO ADDICTIVE AND SO EXPENSIVE!!!
Oh well. Any hobby takes $$$ to get started, I guess. I'm sure it will get better once I've got a stock of supplies, I won't need to buy quite so much in the future (I hope!).
