I went to the 3 day Myrtle Beach one last November, and it was great. A few things I learned: go the night before. It starts at 9:00 am and we drove over (3 hr trip) early that morning, but by the time we got there, got checked into the hotel, got our stuff over to the scrapping place, ate lunch, it was 3:00 or so. We had shot the whole day. They have wonderful die cut machines with so many potential die cuts. I especially liked and used the one that's the same as the Disney font. Also lots of unique border die cuts. But everyone else had the same idea, and I spent lots of time waiting in line. On the final (Sunday) morning, lots of people cleared out and the lines disappeared. Next time, I'll wait until the last day unless I need something specific for what I'm working on.
It was a real blast (but exhausting). The day we got there, our table of 3 already had 6 people who had been working since 9:00 that morning. When we left at 10:00 that night, several of them were still there. When I got back at 7:00 the next morning, two of them had been there all night. We will be going again next November, for sure.
