Scrapbook Store near Disney??

Are there any super-cool Scrapbook stores near WDW (Mouse Memories??) and are they worth it?

I'll have a rental car so I can break away from the group to do some shopping...just wondering if a local store has lots of unique or inexpensive Disney products...

There is a new store opening in Winter Garden which is north of WDW. Until May 12th they are only open weekends. I tried to go on a weekday, so it was closed, so I don't know how good it is or isn't.

There really isn't a lot of scrapping options down there from what I've heard.

Mouse Memories is probably worth the trip if you have the time. To save yourself time when you get there, you can create an order on their website for instore pickup. No sales or deals there though, just a great selection and no shipping cost.

I stopped by Mouse Memories while on vacation 2 weeks ago and came out $70 poorer - but very, very happy! Be forewarned - there are no prices on anything anywhere. However, the care they took in bagging my stuff was wonderful. They asked if I was local and when I wasn't placed everything on cardboard and shrinkwrapped it for me. It was a lovely afternoon break from the parks - and there's a Dairy Queen with Blizzards in between there and Disney World!

Yes - I forgot about that. Loved that! The people there were just super nice. I had brought my Dad with me and when the worker noticed him just kind of standing against the wall he offered him his own desk chair to sit at, then the two of them had a lovely conversation about Food and Wine (my Dad's favorite topic!)

They're not huge but they're a GREAT store. Best in town!
They have all the Prima stuff, all Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, Creative Imaginations...

Thanks everyone!! iI'm in WDW right now and will need to adjust my schedule to fit in the scrapbook stores...I actually found some different stuff at Wal-Mart than what my Mike's or ACMoore has so I bought some there and of course some at DTD but I can always get more, right?

So there are no prices on the items in the Mouse Memories store? I think that may discourage me to buy things instead of encourage me to buy things because I hate asking workers for the prices. But I know whats going to happen... the second I walk in there, I'm going to see a million things I 'need' to have for my Disney scrapbook and buy it anyway!!

Scrappy Boutique is a great store -- sort of tucked in a strip mall and if you're not looking for it you might miss it. The easiest way to describe where it is is if you faced the Target store, it's behind you sort of to your left.

I also didn't like that Mouse Memories had no prices, but the staff is very friendly and glad to tell you the price. I was surprised at how small the store is. Not a lot of layouts on display (which is what I really like about scrapbook stores), but tons of stuff!

The big thing to remember about Mouse Memories is that it is not a store but a warehouse- basically you can shop at there warehouse instead of online. So you will not get the same feel as a store- where they regularly have displays to try and get you to buy things.

I went to Scrappy Boutique when I was there last week. Awesome store near the Florida Mall. They had all the new products from CHA in February. She also had boxes of stuff at 40% off. I was able to pull together almost complete sets of Basic Grey Indian Summer and Nook and Pantry (plus embelishements) at 40% off. Also got a bunch of new stuff. Super duper nice staff. I would highly recommend it.
