scrapbook room colours.

Hi. What colour is your scrapbook room?
I just basically got my room organized, now I want to paint it. I know, I am kind of backwards. I was thinking one main wall a dark/hot pink then the other three a softer pink. Maybe hot/dark pink circles or blocks on the soft pink walls.I have white tables/shelves with black accents here and there.

My scrapbook/craft roomis bright orange! I picked the paint because it makes me smile...and I'd never paint any of our 'real house rooms' a bright color like that!

Your colors sound great. My niece just painted her bedroom bright pink with black trim. Sounded horrible to me at first, but it looks great.

I often see pink/black/white paper that I absolutely love in scrap stores. That sounds like a fun room - go for it!

Mine is also blue. I will try and get some pics in the next few days. I planned on doing something fun when I painted but I have so much stuff in there, you cant really see the walls anyway.

i don't have one. so i'd love any color!!!!! i scrap in the basement. i'd love to finish it, but i would have to a) clean out the basement! and b) put my scrap stuff away while i did! and c) i just took home a bunch of my mothers stuff so now there REALLY is no room for anything. maybe someday i'll get up the energy for that!

In the new house, I am planning on having an Alice in Wonderland themed scrap room. I have a bunch of collectibles that I want to display, and it is also the inspiration for the color scheme. The walls will be a yellow, I am leaning toward a shade in Glidden's line called Buttered Sweet Corn. The trim will be white, the furniture will be white. While we were at the mall yesterday, I found the cutest flowered valance on a green background from Pottery Barn Kids. I also have purple and teal photo box storage pieces that I think will look cute in the space too.

LoL! I will post pics, but it will be awhile. We have a late closing, so we won't even get the keys until Oct 16th! I hope to have it done before Thanksgiving though.

Hi. Just got back from Home Depot with some sample paint for my one wall.-Disney's Invitation to a Princess.Wow its Hot Pink. But I love it

The color of my studio is called Raffia. It is a Ralph Lauren color. Sort of a light yellow. I chose the color for several reasons. One reason is that I had planned to frame some of my photos and scrapbook pages with flat black frames to make a gallery wall. I felt the color would make a nice soft background and not clash or take away from the photos. I’m hoping that it will always be a work in progress, changing and morphing as time goes by
