Hi:

Just found this link. I am a scrapbooker (well, more of a scrapbook supply collector right now as I don't have time to actually make pages - LOL!) Wish I had more time to spend here looking at all previous threads but we are leaving in six days for our Magic Cruise and I need to get off this computer and start packing!

Can anyone on this thread tell me more about the scrapbook kits sold onboard? How much are they? What is included in them? Where can I buy them, etc? Thank you. Can't wait to come back from my cruise and spend more time on this scrapbook board to get to know all of you! Carlotta

I bought the memory box that had pins and places to put your pix..I also bought the cruise line scrapbook..I had captain john sign the first page and put all our pix from 2 cruises in it..its not a 12x12 but I got it anyway cause of the cover..also scanned the cover of the gang on CC mickey, donald ets and printed out some pix to go thru the x-ron and add to the pages..that was in 12/02..so maybe they have some new stuff now..the memory box was bought on our 12/01 cruise..have fun on your cruise there is nothing like it..Mariannepirate:

i can let you know a little about the SB sold on the disney magic, i think it's the same as the wonder. it's 8 1/2 x 11, and comes with a sheet of stickers, 4 or 5 die-cut sheets, and about 10 page protectors. it also comes with a small pack of cardstock in red, yellow, green, white, and purple. this paper only fits in the page protectors provided, i tried using the extra stuff in other protectors but they were almost a 1/2 inch too big. anyway, i bought it in mickey's mate's (i hope i'm not confusing it with treasure ketch) and it was $25. my big crisis now is that i scrapped too many pages and the book doesn't screw together :( however, i'm still working on fixing that problem. they also sell about three other scrap kits with just diecuts, but i didn't find a use for them because they weren't directly related to the cruise. one was disney princesses, another was disney world and i forget the other one. they had a disney cruise coloring book which i regret not picking up. the pages can be used for piercing or i thought it would be cute to have one of the kids color one and put their picture next to it. don't forget to save your navigators, trading cards, kid's menus, and all the disney brochures you pick up on the way. hope this helps. have fun!:D:)

Thank you everyone for all your herlp! I'll be sure to pack an extra $25 to buy this kit. I was thinking that I could buy this book and get my pictures developed on board (at least one roll since it's so expensive) and start scrapbooking while on the ship. But, I'm afraid I can't bring scissors or a paper cutter as they might take them away from me going through security at the airports.

Oh well, it will be nice to have a specific binder and paper to put all cruise related pictures in when we get home.

Marianne, thank you so much for the idea of getting the Captain to sign the book! I wouldn't have thought of that.

lrmillen, thanks for all the info on where to purchase the kit and what is included. Sounds like it's hard to extend beyond the ten pages provided? Do you want me to ask about your problem when I get onboard or do you have it figured out? Thanks for reminding me to save all the menus, navigators, etc to include.

If anyone else has any scrapbooking or photography suggestions for our cruise, I'd love to hear them. Thanks again! Carlotta
