I usually buy a scrapbook from Hobby Lobby or Michael's. This year I am wanting to buy one on our trip. I think it would be so awesome to have an actual scrapbook that I purchased there. My question is, when I look on line I am finding the same thing that I have when I look at the parks. The scrapbooks are fixed. You can't add pages to them. :confused3 Does anyone know if they have scrapbooks that you can add to at the parks? If so can I get more pages once I get home if I need more?
Thanks! :goodvibes:goodvibes

I seem to remember at least one post bound album at the parks. I tend to use whatever page protectors I have on hand. The trouble with some Disney albums is they have a fixed depth binding - that's not expandable. I solved that problem on my cruise album by dispensing with their binding and replacing it with a piece of fabric backed vinyl that I cut to size and hemmed the ends.

I bought the Four Parks, One World scrapbook "kit", but it's really just a post-bound album with colored scrapbook pages in some of the page protectors.

I bought the same album. I also usually pick up a SandyLion album at Michael's. I like having an album that came from Disney. Hopefully they will come out with a new album each year.

Just bought the Sandy Lion one from my M's a few weeks ago for 60% off! Score! :thumbsup2

Another nice album available at the parks (as well as Wolrd of Disney at DTD) is blue with a bronze castle medallion on the cover that is post-bound/expandable. We picked up one of those on our last trip and really like it.

I've purchased the album at the parks and I've been able to add pages to it. when you buy the refills (i've just purchased refills from whatever scrapbook store) you can get extenders to add it. The binding on the disney album have had large holes so it expands.

I have also bought the 3 ring binder types at WDW and added to them. (Had a little difficulty with "Ears to You 2002" finding refill pages.....) I usually make sure before buying any album that I will be able to add pages, but I know for sure that my Disney albums will go that way!

I've bought the WDW "yearly-themed" album every year since 2004 (except the 2006 album) & have always been able to add extra pages to it.

I did not buy the 2006 album, which was 3-ringed, because it was very, very small. I bought a different post-bound album instead.

Thank you for your help! I will wait and get one at WDW. I am so excited to have my very first scrapbook that actually came from there. I am planning to get pages, stickers etc. for the first time there too. I think it will be extra magical to flip through it after the trip and know that it was once on a shelf at Disney World :lovestruc
