Scrapbook Expo in Chicago

Took off work today just to go the the EXPO at the Odeum in Villa Park, just wondering if anyone will be there??? I am hoping to get some new ideas and maybe learn a few things. As I posted earlier, I am trying to learn about quilling, I don't know if I'll get lucky there, but hopefully.

Well gosh, I wish I knew. I am only 2.5 hours from downtown Chicago. But doesn't look like I will make it today

I won't be going... I need to save money for my Disney trips this year. But I am going to the Scrapbook show in Tinley Park on April 30th. Anyone going there?

I saw that the scrapbook expo was in Villa Park this weekend. This one is usually in September or October, interesting. I haven't heard about the one in Tinley Park next weekend. But I wouldn't be able to go to that one either because I'm attending a crop on Saturday all day.

The Memories Expo one is in May in St. Charles at Pheasant Run. Anyone going to that one? I can't remember the dates but I think it's May 20 and 21. This is the one that use to be at the Rosemont Convention Center.

I won't be going to the St. charles convention, I'll be in DL celebrating my birthday.
I am trying to save my money for scrap items at Disney!

I went to the Expo and took some classes-all were pretty good . Then I shopped some and that was even better . I always like this Expo-good classes and lots of free make-n-takes.

I enjoyed the make and takes, the demos were good too!! Not too much about quilling, but maybe I'll see about next weekend's expo. I did buy a couple of things but they'll have to stay in the car until later. Didn't know about the St. Charles one though, will have to check it out.

Just got back from the Expo and had a great time! My friend and I weren't sure if we should got to the Scrapbook Expo or the Memories Expo, but the SB Expo was offering a Disney class and that decided us--LOL. We took three classes and did some shopping. I found some of the new Disney stuff like the whale of a punch, the red mickey head alphabet with acrylic tops, and the mickey and friends paper clips. Can't wait to make some pages with it all!

I'm gonna start wearing my LIME GREEN MICKEY HEAD on my scrap-bag. Maybe I'm running into DISer's everywhere, and I don't even know it!!

That's a good idea about our lime green ribbons on our scrap bags or whatever we are carrying with us on those days. I didn't realize there were so many scrappers on this board so close to me.
