Scrapbook Cruise--must Read!!

Ok Ladies---Here it is--the Scrapbook cruise I've been telling ya'll about.

Departing Thurday April 21, 2005 from Miami, FL on Carnival's IMAGINATION (appropriate for Disney don't you think?!) 4 night cruise returning Monday.
Itinerary includes:
Thursday depart Miami, FL at 4 pm
Friday Day in Key West, FL (full of history & fun!)
Saturday Day in Cozumel, Mexico (great snorkeling & diving destination as well as AWESOME shopping!)
Sunday Fun Day at Sea -- Instructional class w/Jennifer Webb, Creative Memories Consultant as well as open crop time, door prizes and SURPRISES!!
Monday Back in port in Miami and time to go home.

Cruise is $517.38 per person based on double in an interior stateroom. Price includes your accommodations, all port charges and taxes, all shipboard meals, entertainment, most non-alcohol drinks, and cancellation insurance. Also included is instructional classes on various techniques, free time to crop and visit w/fellow scrapbookers and a few surprises still in the works!

Optional add ons---Round trip transfers from Ft Lauderdale airport or Miami airport to cruise docks in Miami
Prepaid Gratiuties may be added

Airfare--Air is not included in this package but I can get it for you through the cruise line if you would like. OR you may also purchase air on your own. Feel free to discuss options w/me on this.

Ocean View Cabins are available at $50 more per person.

Payments--1st deposit of $50 per person is due 10/1/04
2nd payment of $150 per person is due 12/15/04
Final payment is due 2/15/05. Cancellation penalities go in effect at this time.

I think this is a wonderful cruise and awesome opportunity to get together and meet fellow Disboard members as well as other folks that have the same passion as you do for scrapbooking and preserving your memories. I chose this cruise because it departs on a Thursday and you would be away from home only 5 days. I know there is another scrapbook cruise being offered to the public but it is a 7 day cruise. There is NO WAY I could be gone from my girls 7 days!! To me, this is just enough time to get a break from home and have "scrap time" without causing too much interuption in your home schedule. I hope you find it to be a good price and great cruise as well.

Don't want you to think I was ignoring this post... LOL!! I'm going on 2 cruises next year, the first in May, so there's no way I could make another one in April... sorry!! (Just thought I'd post so you know I wasn't intentionally ignoring your post!! )

Sounds like a blast but unfortunately not something I can commit to at that particular time. It is the final week of the semester and I am just too busy that time of year to take off, even for a long weekend.

Thanks Ladies, for getting back w/me. Sounds like I've hit a bad
weekend even after I checked out every possible situation. I was so concerned about staying away from Easter, Spring Break and Mother's Day I never once thought about folks in college. I'm sorry ya'll won't be able to join us.
