How do you orgizine them? I have so many (including paints) and there all over my craft space. I need to learn to orgizine them somehow! Im desprate to find out how you guys do it.

I am not a great example because I do not have a set "Craft Room" but here is my system. I have a set of clear plastic storage drawers from Walmart. Those hold all of the craft supplies. Then I have a plastic storage tote that holds all of the mementos and "to be scrapped" stuff. I have plastic paper storage boxes for my paper and stickers. Everything else just lives in my crop bag which sets next to the table where I scrap. It is not a perfect system and it is not pretty, but it is cheap and works for me. :goodvibes

Thats sorta my system too. Though its not working so well cause my 12x 12 paper dosent fit and my stickers get all jumbled. im gonna have to get off my butt and clean that room this weekend. Its not just crafts. Its toy storage (for my old toys), book storage (its overflowing the bookcase), monkey storage (my collection), my desk (a junk heap), luggage story basically a big mess

I need a better system for my stickers too. If I use half a sheet the rest get all distorted...I am sure there is some fancy storage unit for them...I just have not found it yet.

I also need to get rid of a bunch of stickers, but that is a different topic! :goodvibes

I have the crop in style binder(thanks AWM for the trade) and that hold my sticker sheets and such- it comes with/you buy various size pages so you can store stickers in holders that fit there size. Before I had that I used a binder with page protectors but I couldn't put many in and I could see them as easily so I didn't use them as often- now that they are in the binder I find I use them more often.

There was a really good thread on organizing all your supplies that Hopemax lead in January-March of last year in which many of us worked on organizing our supplies- I will try to find it and bump it to the top again. She showed what she did for each item and many others posted what they did as well.

I have about 20 plus jet max cubes for a lot of my stuff. I got those with 50% coupon or when they are on sale at M's or ACM. I also have the crop in style sticker binder for stickers and also some oversized embellies.I have a MM center hanging on my wall for flowers and cricut carts. I also got a small table top thingy and one that stands on the floor that you put all the packaged embellies to hang from the lss that closed this year. Sad. Finally I have 3 paper racks wher I store my single sheets. I have been scrapping for 13 years, so I have acquired this stuff over a long period of time. Too bad I don't have 13 completed albums. Lol.

For stickers I use baseball card holders and page protectors. You can get packs of baseball card holders at Walmart for pretty expensive. You can also buy an inexpesive or clearance photo album that you slide the photos in and use it. Put the pages in a binder or 3 ring photo album.

If you have a larger budget then you can get the sticker binders like from Crop in Style and the specially made large pages, but that is a lot more expensive.

Also, think outside the box. I LOVE the hardware/home improvement stores. When I began scrapping and didn't have a room I used a rolling tool box to hold my supplies (it has my cake decorating stuff in it now). I used a hand held tool box for the "daily" things that I could just set on my table when I worked.

Tackle boxes (fishing section) are great for little embellishments, like buttons and eyelets and things like that. They sell the same type of plastic boxes in the craft section but usually charge more!

It is much easier now to find those plastic drawers in a size to hold 12x12.

Well... before you can decide what type of storage system you need, you have to decide HOW you are going to organize. By brand? By type? By season/holiday? After you figure out what works best for you in that regard, it will be easier to determine what type of storage you need.

For MOST of my storage, I am currently using 12 x 12 plastic Sterilite drawer (many, many of them!). They hold the larger sticker sheets, plus they hold 12 x 12 paper. I have them divided by season/holiday. I keep my cardstock and solid paper sorted by ROYGBIV in upright boxes (repurposed priority mail boxes) right next to my scraptable. Patterned paper is stored by main color in 12 x 12 drawers. Specific themed stickers, and embellishments are sorted by season/holiday, etc and each has a 12 x 12 drawer.(Winter/Christmas/Valentine's Day, Spring/Easter, Summer/Vacation/July 4th, Fall/Halloween/T.giving, Boy, Girl, Travel, Vintage/Heritage, School/Sports... these are the majority of my categories.)

Then I have a 12 x 12 drawer each for other majority categories like alphabet rub-ons, alphabet stickers, die cut alphabets, rubber stamp alphabets, other rubber stamps, tags and slide mounts, brads and eyelets, small punches, small Disney misc, adhesives.

I have a few sets of larger drawers also that hold my larger punches (circles, squares, borders), my Sizzix dies and alphabets, patterned paper scraps, all other Disney (stickers, papers etc...I had SO much they needed a larger drawer than 12 x 12 !!), and other tools.

I keep a spinning utensil holder on my work table with most of my pencils, pens, markers, scissors, rulers, Un-du, Xacto knives, tweezers, etc.

I have also recently started sorting my scraps by ROYGBIV color in their own 12 x 12 drawer, but for all of these previous years (I've been scrapping the "modern" way since 1995) I just kept ONE LARGE scrapdrawer... it worked but I rarely used my scrap efficiently and effectively.

Anyhow, not sure any of this rambling will help you. Good luck..........P
