I told DF and he was like what am I suppose to do while you are having your girl time, lol! I said well I guess you guys will have to just join the forums and bond!!!

Hey I justed wanted to post a picture of a mock up of our table names as well. We are naming our tables after some of our favorite films and putting them on mini easels I found a Hobby Lobby.

Cake Stand questions:
1. Were the lights already purple and where did you find them?
2. Also are there individual lights in each glass jar? I wasn't sure what they were if they were electric tea lights or something else.
3. Where did you end up getting the plexiglass and did they cut it for you?
4. What size is the plexiglass?
5. I think you mentioned you found the square glass jars at the Dollar Tree is that correct?

I love to make candy/ice cream/cupcake/cookie buffets for parties and this would be a great addition!

Font questions:
1. What font did you use for "Australia" at the top of your centerpeice?
2. What font did you use for "RSVP" on your rsvp card?

PS I love the purple paper you choose for your centerpieces...it has a pretty shimmer.

Seating Chart Question:
1. Where did your friend find the seating chart template that you are using?
2. Is it an editable pdf document?

They keep showing those damn Universal commercials for HP, tempting me... I want to go SOO bad on our honeymoon- but the tickets are so ridiculous for just one day... I might have to do it though...HP is my love!

We can figure some stuff out at a later date! Mine would also depend on money- and often times we go on a family vacation with my family from TX in the summers. So will everyone be married by then??

As far as the trip goes, all you girls I think are getting married this year! I'm not until Oct 2012.. So your one year anniversaries will be when I'm getting married! haha. I'm hoping to get down either the end of this year or beginning of 2012. Because I KNOW the summer before my wedding is going to be complete chaos for me. ha.

Thanks! I am using about 15 different films. Avatar, Chicago, The Count of Monte Cristo, Iron Man, Less Miserables, Love Actually, Memento, Moulin Rouge, Once, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Trek, The Blue Brothers, The Dark Knight, The Phantom of the Opera, and The Time Machine. We are adding quotes from movies of each one just like in the example I posted. I need to make the foundations stronger though, currently I am just using cardstock so I need to add something to the back to make it stronger.

Thanks everyone for the compliments!!! I love me some HP! I read all of the books and have all of the movies on DVD, lol! I was this close to ordering Herimione's beaded bag from the Noble Collection for my dollar dance bag I have been wanting to go to Universal and check out the new park, I have my eye on some of the butterbeer, lol! I have my siggie updated I am all for 2012 in July or 2013 doesn't matter to me. We are going in 2012 anyway for our one year so if you all want to do something then I can just move the date to whatever you all want doesn't matter. I will go in 2013 too if that's what everyone is wants to do, I can't say no to Disney

Thanks Dolly!!! The lights I bought already came in purple and I got them from Joann Fabrics they are submersible led lights I believe the brand is Bright Spots and you can find them in the same aisle were you find cracked ice and clear balls for flower arrangements. Yes there is a light in each jar. I plan on adding purple gel balls to each glass vase like I am using in my centerpieces. You can also find the gel balls at Joanns they come dehydrated and you just add water and they expand. Here is a better picture of the gel balls in my centerpieces. I also put one of the those lights right down in the middle of the vase.

I did get the glass jars from the Dollar Tree. The plexi came from Lowe's Hardware Store. I bought a sheet of 24" by 18" and had them cut it down to 18" by 18" they do this for free in store. I used nine of the glass jars underneath the plexi.

I used the font "showtime" on dafont.com for the "Australia" sign. The font I used for RSVP was also from dafont.com called "romantiques." I actually didn't use shimmer paper for the sign it was a border that DF created using photoshop.

I my friend made the template for the chart the example you see is actually the one she used at her wedding. She made it in Microsoft Publisher, if you send me your email I can send you the attachment.

OMG that's awesome Dolly, I really like the invitations and the hats for the groomsmen. I will probably incorporate the hats it really adds to the feel. Those shoes are super cute and I have never seen a bouquet like that before super chic!!! Reminds me alot of the one I am doing, thanks for the links

So I had a very lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng day today. I had to drive to my home town (where the wedding is located) to take care of some wedding stuff, one being a second meeting with our officiant. It went super well, he really understands our vision. He is incorporating a lot of "us" in the ceremony itself. He gave us a rough draft of the readings and a layout of our wedding ceremony and it definitely made the whole wedding seem more real seeing the words on the page, I am super excited!!! He is incorporating movie quotes into the ceremony and you wouldn't even know it because it was so subtle We met with FMIL (Scott's mom) today and she finished the calligraphy for the envelopes for the invitations! This means we can get them ready and send them out within the next two weeks! I also met with MOH (my sister) and we put on the finishing touches of the bridal shower plans and.....WE ARE HAVING A TEA PARTY! I can't wait for this it's going to be a lot of fun, I can't wait! I also met with Scott's sister, one of my bridemaids, and her shoes came in for the wedding and they look super cute. The poor dear didn't know how to walk in them they are her first set of heels, she's 15 They looked great though I told her to just take it to the stairs and that will help her. We finally got home at about 10:00 PM and I check the mail to find a myriad of wedding goodies I had ordered I will post pictures of the them soon All around good day, but exhausting, I will post pics of all the stuff that came in as soon as I can get it organized.

So wishing the Jo-Ann's hadn't closed down close to where I live...the closest now is 3 hours away. I guess I will have to make a special trip to find all of the fun things like the LED Lights! Or maybe spend some time on their website.
