Scott Peterson arrested....

From the beginning he had that downcast of the eyes when talking to the camera- just like Susan Smith did years ago.

I think they ought to leave him alone in a room handcuffed to a chair with Laci's relatives.

I don't understand why either. They went through a very hard time trying to conceive- years of infertility treatments I guess. Then they are within a MONTH of having their baby and he kills them both?? If I were Laci I would haunt him day and night.

They are reporting that he was arrested because there was fear that he would run - apparently they had some inside information. They stopped in on his way into an exclusive golf course. Apparently, he felt the need to go golfing while his wife and child were being identified. I'd fry his a$$ for that alone quite frankly!!

P.S. Laci's family will be holding a press conference Monday afternoon at 4:00 PT. God bless them in their time of emotional heartbreak.

Here's what I don't understand, even if he is innocent, how on earth could he have done the things he did like play golf during the identification, etc.

CA does it's own fair share of capital punishments & considering the nature of the crime, double homicide, etc, I'd be willing to bet they'll lookfor him to get the DP.

I feel it is sociopathic behavior and yes he was playing golf because he has "convinced" himself he is innocent and to his demented mind it looks as if "he" isn't worried about his innocence.
Only problem is...it is NOT normal behavior and he "cannot" see it that way as he is demented & sick.

OR...maybe he wanted to get a round in before he fried.

I think a lot of his action put more and more doubt of his being innocent. How could he try to sell her car and their home?? He's so cold blooded. It makes me sick. I feel sorry for the last minutes of Lacy's life. And, I feel really sorry for her family and what they have been through. I hope Scott gets what he deserves.

I beleive when he meets his maker he will.

Yes. He dyed his hair blonde and grew a beard, which also made the authorities think he was going to flee.

He certainly has a 'truth-telling' problem. You'd think that when he was asked why he dyed his hair he would've said 'Because the media & public harass him so much. But, alas, he lied, as usual.
People don't just 'become' compulsive liars at his age. Didn't anyone (including Laci & her family) see this side of him before?
Keep the Peterson & Rocha families in your prayers. It breaks my heart to see Laci's family & friends & the pain that they're in. God Bless them all.

I was very surprised to find the following article still on the net in reference to my cousin. The article is rather long, but it does seem to not take sides..........very interesting reading if you can get through it.........this man still says he is innocent, even after his mail in prison was monitored, and some XXX-rated letters came in from both his sister in law, Janet Hancock (his pastors wife) and other various women. Some things sound familiar to the Peterson case, wouldn't you say?

Thank you both I just thought some might be interested in hearing the aftermath on both the victims family and the perpetrators family, as well as some of things going on in "a picture perfect life", that all is not as it seems. Now, almost 3 1/2 years later, it is still hard to believe that this happened to a member of my family. This was my 1st cousin, my dad's sister's child. We were very close as children but unfortunately lost touch as adults. :-( That's one thing I have always regretted. I see the mugshot of Peterson and he has the same smug look on his face as this *** did in his mug shot. That, " I don't care what you think look" GRRR I just wanted to reach through and smack him one!

Does anyone think this was premeditated? They are thinking on one news show I watched that she was killed in the home and then he came up with all the fishing bull crap. Perhaps they were arguing about his affair and things got out of control and he killed her.

NBC is reporting that when he was pulled over, they found $10,000 cash and his brother's identification in the trunck!!!!

P.S..... dzneprincess, I am so sorry your family had to endure that tragedy.
