Scott & Biff return - A September pre tr

oh If I dont change my ressies at least 10 times before we leave I am just not happy.

I have never eaten at the Coral Reef but i have heard good things about it. I am thinking of trying it next time we go....
Another place I was very surprised at this past time was Mama melrose, if you can swing it in your plans you should really try this place! The food was really good and it had a quiet enviroment and was really cozy!

We ate at MM in July and we all thought it was bland and very slow moving. Biff does not want to do Fantasmic so no need to eat in the park for dinner, we are going to California Grill that night.

but take prime time. This is my families fav place to eat lunch. We get a kick out of the servers and usually cause a scene... believe it or not I come from a family of big mouths

anyway, this last time prime time was HORRIBLE... really icky.

Just the opposite happened to us at the castle. In Feb the princesses were REALLY rude and nasty and the whole lunch was just plain BAD. I had to go back as I have a princess but this time it was the most magical meal EVER... it really was.
There is not a whole lot of consistancy with dining at Disney. That is why someone might speak about how wonderful a meal was when others think the place stinks

Well I noticed the biggest difference in the servers while we were there. Not one of them was joking or cutting up the entire time we were there! They were just "servers"... half the fun of that place was when the servers would cut up and tease the guest.
The food has always been a good lunch choice... maybe not fine dining but good for an in park lunch. My kids got the biggest kick out of mom and dad being fussed at or seeing other adults being teased.... nothing this past time, not even a crack of a smile from the servers.

But when was that? See we have been to prime time and always had this kind of fun!

This past week though ALL of the servers were dead personality wise. I don't know if there was a change in management or they were all having a bad day. The food was less quality then before. I mean we ate there in Feb and the servers were all hysterical .. not just ours. Come June and it was no fun at all.

I think the time of the year matters. the busier season it is get them in and get them out.

At 50's we had Byron as our server on Sat. June 14th, 2008 during Star Wars Weekend and the place was hysterical. Every server around us was playful we had a fantastic time. Sorry that others had problems.

Glad to hear we had a fluke day!
We were there june 19th .... so i guess they were just having a bad day!!! I really love this place and was disapointed and thought something changed with the management. Glad to see thats not the case!

I totally agree with you! ALL the servers (but one that we noticed - and I think that was because it was a HUGE party sitting together) were DEAD. The food was eh, too. I was just REALLY disappointed. We definitely have crossed that off our list for next year!
