Ok I was thinking of maybe switching rooms to a water view at BC. Not stay in the Villas.

I would like a view of the water. Not sure if I should. I don't think we will use the kitchen so nothing would be lost if we drop the villa.

thoughts?

After doing the DVC tour I was impressed with how much room you get in a villa. However the daily housekeeping would still be a draw for me. Of course what I really love is staying at the Grand Californian and the nightly turn down service.

space would be lost, but, if you don't mind that :confused3 I say go with the BC, if you want a wv room :goodvibes

For just the two of you, go water view. You don't need that big villa.
Plus, how much time will you actually spend in the room.

Hmmm....tough call....IF you could get a water view of Crescent Lake that would be awesome, but doesn't water view also include pool view? Would you be okay with that?

I just like the privacy that BCV offers. You get a refrigerator in either so no biggie there. Just missing a microwave that you would get if you stayed in a studio.....

The studios don't have much of a "kitchen". Just a small fridge, microwave, sink, and toaster (I think). But the sofa next to the bed is quite nice to have, I believe. We had a water view room at the Yacht Club, also first floor, and we loved it. We were able to just walk out from our patio to Crescent Lake and watch Illuminations, then walk back, all while not bothering to lock up. I hear a lot of room are not direct water views so you may not get what you expect to get.

If it were just Rob & I and we had to choose between the studio or water view room at BC, I would choose the studio.

The studio is just as big as a regular room at the BC.

thank you all. still have not decided. I hate decisions.

I agree with DM and Jordan. I would stick with what you have. The studio is nice to have and I loved having to couch to sit and read or watch tv.

I didnt like the idea of no daily mousekeeping but i would just go with whatevers cheaper, if its the same, i would go for the WV

Daily Mousekeeping is obviously not a big deal for me.

i was under the impression that mousekeeping u get in the villas as long as your not DVC and I am not. I am just renting it as a regular hotel room. HMM I will have to look into that.

If you pay for a regular room in the villas (not use points) you will get daily mousekeeping. Only if you rented points would you not.
Hope that helps
