It will be some Scottish holidays that week, yes (but not all areas of Scotland).
In my experience, Scottish school holidays don't make any difference to the crowd levels in the parks at DLP - its lovely and quiet midweek in Scottish October half terms .

It varies between different local authorities. I nearly booked to go on holiday the other year and then discovered that my DH who worked in a different local authority got the week after me. If you share whether you need to know when different parts of Scotland are on holiday to meet up with friends from there or whether you are hoping to avoid a Scottish invasion it might help. Some lucky parts of Scotland get 2 weeks school holidays in October. If that were me I'd be straight to Florida.
