Scooters at Disney resort (specifically Pop)

While at the Pop a few weeks ago, I noticed a lot of scooters parked outside next to the side of the main building. Are the scooters not allowed in the rooms? Or is it because there is simply not enough room for them in the room?

Has anyone had a problem with theft, by leaving them outside overnight? We were thinking of renting one on our next trip, and was wondering about it.

I had no problem getting the scooter in the room at Pop. Had to move th table and chair a bit to get it close to the hydro outlet. I did see some parked out side; but there is not always a plug outside your room for charging

are being held for the renters of the scooters. This is how you pick up your scooter from an outside rental company. You also drop it off there when you are done with it there.

All other times most people will have the scooter in their room. You need to charge them every night.

There may be a few people who would leave their scooter there overnight, but I doubt. Anyway, you would have the key to it and they are not so easy to move without a key in manual overdrive. The luggage area always has an attendant there.
