Scooter rentals?

I leave for a convention at Disneyland next week and I screwed up my foot this past Friday. Still can't walk on my foot so it's looking like a scooter is going to be in my future. I'm looking for places people have rented from that are reliable and have scooters that will fit a plus sized person.

We use Deckert's surgical. They will ask your weight and height and will provide a scooter accordingly.

I hear a lot of people mention Deckert's and they are happy.

On our last trip we used Apple Scooter of Anaheim and they were fine. Delivered and picked up from our hotel, reasonably priced. I plan to use them for our next trip too.

I could not use Deckert's because we rented a house (they only deliver to hotels). Deckert's recommended I try scooter4u but it was a Sunday and they weren't open. I called Apple which said I could come pick one up. I asked their hours and he said 9am-4pm. His idea of 4pm was off by more than an hour from mine however, as at 2:50 Apple was closed. As was pretty much everyone else by that point.

I ended up renting from ScooterVillage which had great customer service but was more expensive than most places. Two things I did like about ScooterVillage were that they were open until midnight so I could return the scooter at the end of my last day and not worry about it when checking out (less of an issue if you're in a hotel with an agreement with the companies though as I understand you can just leave the scooter for pick-up) and the other thing was they have an answering service so you can always reach someone if you have a problem. (I never had an issue but that made me feel more comfortable about being out late in the parks.)
