Scooter Rentals????

I've seen a few companies listed, but what does everyone prefer for scooter rental? Also what are the cost?

We are heading down there this Oct. with my Mother-in-law that will need one due to back problems. Do they deliver to resorts?

Only Buena Vista Scooters (not owned by WDW) is onsite, and their prices are higher than most other companies. All others are offsite.

See the disABILITIES FAQ for companies with which DISers have had good experiences. I like both Walker and Randy's. Walker, I'm relatively certain, maintains the Disney scooters; and Randy's is the only company that delivers the scooters to the customer, ensuring you know how to operate it.

Apple Scooter, NOW Located ON Disney Property.

This is on the outskirts of the Disney property. It's not at the resorts, but close by. I can't say if Disney owns the land or whatever at Crossroad Shopping Center; I'm just going by what the website says as described above.

I would have responded sooner, but I was away and I didn't have computer access.

We always use Walkers for my mom's ECV and have always been very pleased with his prices and service. He gives a discount if you need it for more than 7 days, so for us his prices have always been cheaper. We do check around every trip, but thus far he's given us the best price.

I used Apple in Jan was very happy with them. I rented the larger 3 wheel model for $175 for the week. It never needed to be charged durong the day, was easy to amnuever even on the buses. I loved it and will definetly rent from them again

Here now with the Go Go Elite from Apple scooters. It's fabulous and it was $150 for the week. They delivered it to my hotel and they'll pick it up as well. It's been great.

I always use walker mobility (I'm on one of their scooters right now having been to todays shuttle launch). They have BRAND NEW scooters and beat everybodys price. Also deliver to you and have on-property (disney and universal studios) service people (not that i've ever had any problems).
I've been a happy customer of Walkers going on 7 years now and nearly 30 rentals.


BTW-the "Butter Beer" at universals Harry Potter has to be the sweetest concoction ever made, it'll make you squint.

Another vote for Walker Mobility! I have been renting from them about twice a year for almost ten years. Their service has always been friendly before, during and after the rental. The scooters have been reliable, and the prices have been competitive. I wouldn't hesitate to use them.
