I need to rent 2 scooters for my parents, who have u been happy with and who have u not been happy with.

Larry

We have rented from apple scooters. Everything was great from there. It was waiting there for us right at our disney hotel when we checked in and we just returned it right at our hotel before we checked out. Their prices were very reasonable and we had no issues. Very easy and stress free.

Follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread.
Post 2 of that thread is about renting ECVs and wheelchairs. It has information about renting ECVs, including phone numbers and websites.

AATourist has been the best one I've dealt with. No problems, no issues, easy to use / dismantle / transport ECV's, and very reasonable rates.

I've been happy with both Walker and Apple, with extra points to Apple for being easier to get hold of at night.

The companies, including Walker and Apple, listed in the disABILITIES FAQs thread are mostly ones that DIS posters have frequently recommended over the years.
There are a few listed in that thread that have less feedback, but both Apple and Walker have a lot of recommendations. Companies not listed in that thread are ones with very little or no feedback on the DISBOARDS.

That thread also lists the 'Featured Providers' which are authorized by Disney to drop off and pick up ECVs from Bell Services without the guest being present.

As said in previous posts I',e been using Walker 8+ years and never had any problems. Their staff is great, scooters work flawlessly and best price in the area.

We rent from Apple. On the occasions we have had issues, they have been prompt to resolve them and have met us in the park where necessary. On our most recent trip, in the interest of full disclosure, our scooters seemed to have a little age on 'em. When we emailed Apple they apologized and we were informed they are in the process of rolling out a new fleet. We have rented from one other company but their scooters were hard to assemble. I imagine we'll continue to use Apple unless I get my own scooter one day.

Scooters are mechanical and issues can happen with them. I'm sure each vendor has had an issue or two.

With that said we've been lucky with Apple and never had a problem. We've rented from them for a very long time (at least 10 years).

I've used apple quite a few times. I have had issues with their scooters a few times but problems are solved as quick as possible. If necessary, they will bring a different scooter to you right in the park.
I have rented from other companies. No problems with any. But the apple scooters are so easy to take apart and put together.

Went with Apple, got 2 scooters 1 worked perfectly, 1 was suppused to be a 4 wheel larger cart and they sent me a 3 wheel larger cart at that poiny I just told him to credit me that difference then that same scooter ran out of battery charge after 4 hours at Animal Kingdom. Luckily I brought the charger and found an outlet to plug into. Called Apple and was told they would bring me new batteries. It was close to park closing time so told him to meet me at Kidani, In the mean time cart died on the way to the car in the parking lot. Later that night they show with new batteries and I show him where the cart is cracked where you pick it up to put the rear part in the car after dissasembly. At that point he just gives me a new cart which looks much newer that the one I have. We will see how it works today.

I have used apple scooter several times. One trip the scooter we had a problem with the battery they brought us a new one right away and on another trip we lost the key and again they brought it to us right away. Great customer service. Michelle
