Scooter rental problem

after reading many positive reports on this board about Cruise Assist (CARE) rentals of motorized scooters, I attempted to contact them. The first email response I got was addressed to someone else whom I did NOT know. The price quoted didn't identify the date, ship or anything so i didn't know if it was for me or not. Subsequent email said 'sorry' wrote wrong name!
I then tried to cl to reserve scooter and after 10+minutes on hold, I hung up. I then attempted to contact the person who responded (in error) to my original email by using the email address on the bottom of her reply. It was returned as 'undeliverable.'
I hope this isn't an indication of their services!

How do i reach these people and how can I be assured of the reliability after all of this?

I think I would e-mail them back and cancel that reservation and look at another company like Apple. It sends up too many red flags to me.

I agree. We have had very positive experiences with Apple Scooter. Good luck!

well i wrote about the bad, now it is only fair to also tell the good ending! I received a phone cl a few minutes ago and the agent apologized profusely and indicated she was the only one working today and was just unable to handle things the way she would have liked (must have been busy). anyway, she also suggested options i could have that would include a WDW hotel, discussed how to dismantle the Scooter easily, etc. She also offered a great rate and I am seriously thinking about it. I will probably call her back and book it. I guess everyone deserves another chance = hope I didn't jump the gun with being irate! In short, a bad situation was handled professionally and in a businesslike manner. I am very satisfied. thanks for letting me vent!! It is nice to see an adverse event handled in such a manner. I do commend CARE.
