The company is called Buena Vista Scooters, and the info is in the FAQs at the top of the page.
I have heard a lot of good reviews from people about their scooters. I myself had a negative experience with them last year about a power wheelchair, but they work differently from scooters.
Some people have reported that they were able to walk up and get the scooter same day, but I would not count on that. It is always best to try to arrange a scooter ahead of time.
I have used Buena Vista on each of my four trips and have had excellent service. The one time I had trouble with one of the scooters they delivered a new one the next morning and I just switched them out.
No matter where we went at DisneyWorld, we were able to secure rental of wheelchairs for $10 a day. While it's not an electric scooter, I'm in my late 50s and was able to easily push my 80-year-old mother around all day -- no problem. And, no one ever "grabbed" or "took" our wheelchaire when we were on rides or seeing shows. Good luck to you!
