Scooter rental: Apple vs Decker

I have put in an online request twice to rent a scooter from Apple, have yet to get a reply or confirmation either time, and when I call I get put on hold forever. $130 for 7 days.

Today I called Decker and they reserved a scooter for me, $245, and immediately charged my credit card. I asked for a confirmation number, and they said it would just be under my name. ??

I've seen several good recommendations for Decker from others on here, but I'm wondering if they were so "casual" with everyone? Do I have anything to worry about? Reservation is for 11/11 - 11/18.

I've rented from both and have never had a problem with either. As for Apple, when I did the online reservation, I never got anything, but then checked my junk folder and the confirmation was there. Both companies have had my scooter at the hotel at the time requested. I don't think I've ever gotten a confirmation number for Deckerts.

Since Apple is cheaper I am going with them again in December.

I finally got through to Apple. Turns out they didn't have a reservation because I wasn't clicking the little round circle that indicated what scooter I wanted (identified in another place but no that one little place). So, reserved with Apple, cancelled with Decker, and saved myself $115!
