Looking to bring grandma with us for a couple of days at the parks, has anyone used a outside vendor for rentals that you could recommend?

Deckerts. You have to call, they don't have a website. My mom has used them twice, and it's been super easy and convenient.

Deckerts for sure.

In March I forgot to call. I called when we arrived and it was ready for me in an hour. (Granted, it was at the GCH, where they have a stash, they were just waiting for my fax approval I'm sure).

Same trip the scooter died. Got a new one no problem. Accidentally left a sweatshirt in the dead one. When I called to inquire they were so nice. We actually got it back from lost and found at the hotel, however, Deckerts called to let me know they searched everywhere and couldn't find it. It was great follow up customer service.

My sister and her family just returned home from their DL trip. She used Apple Scooter for their time there. She was quite happy with them. They delivered and picked up the scooter directly to the hotel they were staying at.

So ended up using Apple Scooters and I can only say the experience was great. Prices were great and booking online was super easy. They only required a credit card a week prior to guarantee the reservation even though we made it a month early.

We were staying off property and had schedule for the scooter/ecv to be dropped off, and as soon as we checked in we saw it sitting there behind the counter waiting for us. We took it up to the room and to make sure it was all charged up. After an entire day at DCA from rope drop to World of color the scooter performed beatifully and the battery never came off of a full charge until we decided to walk back to the Toy Story lot b/c the buses were so full... only after riding it all that way did the battery indicator lose one spot with pleanty more to go. Same for the next day at DL, ran perfectly all day, seemed like it was in much better condition than other rentals we noticed and a lot more user friendly than the ones DL rents out.

One warning is that the things are heavy... we drove to the parks from the hotel ourselves and loading and unloading from a minivan was really tough. I would definitely use Apple again when in the parks
