Scooter Company Near Disneyland

Since Gold Mobility isn't out on the west coast (yet at least, hopefully they make it someday), we have been searching high and low for a scooter company out by Disneyland.

Requirements:

• Willing to rent to locals that aren't staying at a hotel
• Has a scooter in good working order
• Can drop off and pick up early and late (i.e. before park opening to after closing) at no to little additional cost.
• Has reasonable prices (at least no more expensive than in park rentals for a single day rental)

We finally found a company that:

• Will rent to locals and drop off and pick up at your house or they also have arrangements with hotels near each of the major attractions that even those not staying there can pick up and drop off.
• Scooter is in great condition and is bright green, so it is easy to find in a crowd.
• They drop off the night before and pick up the morning after or if there is a more convienent schedule they will work it out at no additional cost.
• Price for a single day is $44 with the damage insurance, so cheaper than an in park rental.

And the person on the phone is friendly and nice, the company name is Moving Mobility America. Their scooters don't come with all the upgrades that Gold Mobility throws in, but still a decent scooter that lasts all day and is cheaper and better than in park rentals. And is an option for locals, something that is surpringly hard to find near Disneyland.

I don't know anything about moving mobility America but the most popular rental place here in Disneyland is Deckerts Surgical Company...Ive used them since back in the early 90s....(714) 542-5607 ...they deliver to your hotel and they will do it as early as you need...love them

Unfortunately, Deckerts won't rent to locals or deliver to residences the last I checked. They are also more expensive.

Not saying they aren't good if you are staying at a hotel, just saying they aren't even an option for many people that may be looking.

Also, many companies closed up shop on the area after ScooterBug became the only preferred vendor, so of staying on property, you have to meet anyone else in person. I don't think Deckerts closed up shop, but I know many did.
