Scoops last seminar a pictorial by his #1 Fan… Well okay #12 but I had the Camera so today I was it.

Today was Scoops last pin seminar… Or was it???? Either way people came from miles away to see the man we have known as Scoop.

Once we got there and Scoop showed up we all got ready for our pin talk, but then with a sad heart Scoop told us this was his last pin seminar.

Some Laughed and yelled “No not true this is some kind of a joke”

Then later it was all over, and truly in the end we all knew one thing….

As for the pin trading seminar returning… Wellllll Scoop wants it to, but he asked for a few things not for himself but for everybody else.

What did he ask for? I’ll tell you.

A custom built limo to bring him to work, and take him home, a massage specialist in his dressing room assigned only to him, that the park be renamed Scoop World, that the Dapper Dans dress in plaid and be renamed The Scoopy Doo’s, and that security quit following Ed around the parks.

Okay okay the last one was not on his list.

Really kids all he asked for was

#1 Better lighting
#2 More seats so you could all sit down.
#3 Pin information so he can pass it on to you, and to have something to actually show you, like new pins that are coming out.

That’s it. So what can we all do? It’s up to you kids… You want it? Then tell somebody about it, write to Disney and tell them how you feel. Post it on the boards. Tell you aunt Suzy. All I have seen so far is a few posts saying I’ll miss Scoop and I wish he was not stopping the pin seminars. Well then kids if you want it? then fight for it. the rest is up to you.

Thanks Ed for all the pictures and the review.

I was thinking everyone being there today and sure wishing I was a part of it.

I will surely miss the pin talks, I think everyone will.

i guess we can't do our usual sitting-in-front-of-the-expo-hall-at-12:30-waiting-for-scoop's seminar-to-start... ... the next time we're visiting.
but i'm glad he'll have more time to spend with his family now...

I have never attended one of Scoop's seminars. It was always something that I thought I would get to do "the next time I was at WDW." It's sad to me to realize that my opportunity is gone.
