Crusader, i wasnt looking for a thtrill ride, just a good ride the whole family could enjoy and maybe with the length or seating disney could increase the capacity of the ride somehow( im not a engineer so i could be all wet on this).

Bob O is NOT looking for a Thrill Ride. Sorry Bob...

I worked at TL about 6 years ago and they were talking about this type of ride then, so it has been in the plan for a long time. Was even on a team that went over to Jacksonville to look at a ride at a water park there. We got there and the park was closed (great planning!), so we ended up walking the track, instead of riding it with water. I agree that it would be a cool addition to TL and hope that now they will be able to build it.

Bob O I think that thing from Hershey Park would be good in Blizzard Beech. I know they have the ski lift, but this could be themed like a ski lift I think.

We (yes, here in Texas also LOL) have a nearby semi-small water park (atleast smaller than Hurricane Harbor aka Wet n Wild) that has one of those coaster type rides. The double innertube you sit in looks like the one showed in that picture on that website shown on this thread even! The one that goes up and down- water blasting you up. It's a really long tube ride and it's our favorite everytime we go (which is often). They only have a few other slides- some with/some without tubes and wave pool and lazy river- but then that ride (they call it Green Extreme.... the double innertubes are green LOL)

I think that would be a great ride to add to TL. I can't believe they don't already have one when this tiny water park does. LOL

Hi BibbidyBobbidyBoo! Which waterpark are you referring to? I know it's not Schlitterbahn because that place is a monster and definitely not small. Not NRH2O?

I have seen Masterblaster Watercoasters featured on the Discovery channels "Best of..." theme park, water park and coaster specials. I certainly hope that TL will see this wonderful addition of the Master Blaster type water coaster. I think it would be a huge boon for business, and I know I would definitely be there to enjoy it. Wonder if they will have to put in FP's for this? I could see huge lines and bottlenecks in our future!

Now, we just have convince the PTB to part with the money so we can all realize this wonderful dream!

I'd love to see a Chip n Dale vs Donald ride in ToonTown or anywhere. C & D need more exposure, there at every breakfast and kids love them. More C & D!

and I mean narrow. I remember years back-Schlitterbahn was a hole. Literally. As each year passed, they built. It used to be a small, kinda lazy Sunday afternoon complement to the comal river.
Well, after the Travel Channel came in, that was all over. With that kinda advertising, the crowds came. And came. And came. And they're still coming. It is a circus, zoo, call it what ever you want. That peaceful, low-key setting has vaporized completely as the hordes came storming in. My wife won two tickets-and we knew weekends were TOTALLY out of control. So she took our son down there in June-on a weekday. They got there a little before 10am, when it opens. They had their site set on Master Blaster-the reigning water park ride of the nation. However, lo and behold, on the trip down to New Braunfels, our son, who is 8yo, got a nosebleed. So after 20 minutes, she nursed him ok, and they went over to get in line. Upon their arrival-2 hour wait.
After 20 minutes after the park opened, the line was at 2 hours.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would have hit the roof.
I remember some poor slob standing in line for the wolf pack-a 30 second ride-that you can ride with 3 people-waited in line for 45 minutes on a Sunday-he said he shelled out 85 clams-for standing in line for not even the "premium" ride of the park?
I have never been on the ride-2 hours I would lose my mind. However, one day my son and wife got in in an hour and a half.
They said it was awesome, but not worth the wait by a long stretch. It is very slow-loading-and before they launch the next tube-the one allready in the chute has to clear a certain point.
If disney brings this in-expect crowds of unforeseen size, along with the pains of unplanning to go with it.

Might be the first water park FP. EE for resort guests? I would hope Disney would do whatever they could to increase capacity.

Is BB going to open in January? We will be visiting WDW late Dec and early Jan (16 days). We hope to visit a waterpark (weather permitting) Will TL be open in Dec? Thanks!
