Scooby Doo?

Is Scooby Doo anywhere in Univeral?
Like maybe a character meal or meet and greet?
My son loves Scooby and thought we'd try and find him if possible.

Now that you mention it...I don't think I've seen Scooby either...just the MM and Shaggy.

When I went in Nov. 2007, I was able to meet both Scooby and Shaggy. They do drive around in the Mystery Machine but don't stop but they had a Meet and Greet set near ET Adventure along with the other cartoon characters.

Just got back yesterday - Scooby and shaggy are there. They are at universal studios right in front of the ET ride / store. When you get there check out the map and it will tell you what time meet and greets are. Curious george and the man in the yellow hat and woody woodpecker and the girl woodpecker are also there. Get there a few minutes early because the lines grow quick. Right outside the ET store you will see the ropes they use to form the lines (they are up against the wall ready to come out when the characters arrive).

Scooby was cite he interacted with the kids and was funny.

PS - have your kids wear a swimsuit that day - right by the characters is fivals (waterside) and curious george area that are water areas. My kids spent hours in those 2 areas.

Now does anyone know if they take dining reservations?
Or do you just walk in?

And do you have to have a Ticket to Universal to get in?
Or can I just go to the resort, park and eat there?

It was not busy when we went - so we didn't need reservations.

You do not need a ticket to eat at the resort.

The food was great and the service was excellent!

The character interaction was really well done and our kids loved it.

It was not busy at all. They have a GREAT kids dining area. The kids dining area does get a little busy so eat early - it only has 4 tables so they fill up fast. The kids dining room is connected to the island dining room and the characters go in and out of both. We got a table at 4:30pm and had a drink and app. while the kids played than ate at 5pm.

Scooby also visits The Kitchen Restaurant at Hard Rock Hotel and the evening buffet at Portofino Bay Hotel. You don't have to be staying at the hotels to eat there but you should check which nights he is at which hotel.

I think we got 2 seasons ourselves,along with a couple of Rocky and Bullwinkle!! I love the Spy vs. Spy shorts!!!
